Chapter 15 - The scent

*Mineran's POV*

It has been a very long day. I feel so stressed with all of mine an Phoenix's meeting with other alpha's. I dont know how he does it.
As I walk back to my room, my body feeling heavy and my mind drifting places, I catch the scent of freshly picked roses above me. Thats imposible though. Im on the top floor of the pack house. I cant help but to be paniced. I look into my room, Phoenix is already in bed asleep. I look around the top floor looking for a ladder or stairs but find nothing. The smell is getting stronger and when I look up. I see it. A larger petal over the top of my head. I instantly know what it means and I open the nearest window letting in the smell of ocean waves. She has come.

*Pheonix's POV*

Mineran has been missing for three days. Why does she always go missing? I understand what she is but come on! She couldnt leave a note or at least let her wall down so i could talk to her? She is so irresponsible to be the Luna right now, I wont even think about marking her until she comes to her senses. Im just going to ignore her and whenever she stops being childish, then maybe ill consider talking to her again.
"Why dont you just talk to her about it instead of being petty?" My wolf asks me with an attitude. "Ive tried multiple times but it doesnt get through her thick god damn skull so no, im done talking to her!"

Its been a month now since ive seen her. I cant sleep right ans ive been refusing to eat. My meetings havent gone so well and I cant help but feel like maybe she ran away for good.
Next thing I know shes walking through the fucking bedroom door holding a child with white hair. She seems closer to the child than to me. I just stare at her for a little while before growling at her to go away. Her eyes looked hurt but I was way more hurt. So I took the covers on the bed and layed down tossing them over my head. I didnt want to look at her right now I was just to hurt and angry. How could she just come back with a child on her hip like she hadnt been missing for over a month? Who in their right mind does that? Who the hell is that kid? I keep pushing those thoughts away and fall asleep quickly. Im just done with the drama.

*Mineran's POV*

He really just told me to go away. Like what the hell dude. You havent seen me in a month and thats the first thing you decide to say to me. Fine have it your way mister grumpy pants. Ariea and I will just stay in the alpha's guest room till you grow a pair of big boy balls and talk to me. As I walk to the other bedroom holding a very sleepy Ariea in my arms I cant help but notice she reminds me of someone. I dont know who but it really makes me wonder. I guess ill find out soon, but I really cant wonder what that new scent on Phoenix was. It smelled familiar, like someone else in the pack. Ill find out later.
