Chapter 11

*Phoenix's POV*
My mate has taken a trip, without me. I sent a guard with her and it's been over a week since I've heard from them both. I've started to worry a lot. Everybody in the pack thinks everything is normal, but they have no idea what could happen.
      When I heard what her previous alpha had said, the one she ran from, my blood started to boil. "She is mine, I bought her."  I can't imagine what that pack put her through.  It's a rule with all packs,  don't steal another packs member.  He could go to the great one, claim that I stole her, and I'd never see her again.  Even if she is my mate, she is still their omega due to her being bought like a fucking slave.  I'd have to fight him to keep her.  She hasn't told me anything from her past, except for how she became omega.  Being born the alpha's daughter but to weak to make him proud, weak enough he disowned her as his.  I wouldn't ever do that to any future child of mine.  This pack has an omega but that doesn't give the pack a right to beat him.  The pack almost all has the same strength so we just picked one of the weaker people and gave them a simple title.
