Chapter Eight - What is this?

~Mineran's POV~

Phoenix is looking at me, he is finally back! After so long of waiting for him to get here. I get up and rush over to him, but I stop, he looks pissed. He is starring at someone. I turn around and see that he is starring at Zane. This isn't good at all.

Phoenix starts walking towards Zane, growling loudly. Zane tries to crawl away but can't, Phoenix steps on Zane's leg and breaks it.

I yell, "Phoenix stop! Don't hurt Zane!"

He looks at me, eyes filled with hate. He knows what he is doing, he knows what pack Zane is from.

"Please, don't hurt Zane." I try to beg for him to spare Zane's life, but I don't think it worked.

"Why? He is from that abusive ass pack you had! Why should I spare him!?" He sounds more pissed than ever.

I drop my gaze. "Because he isn't like them. He helped me as much as he could. He is basically a brother to me."

I can hear more growling, I don't look up though. Phoenix walks up to me. "You want him alive, fine, but if anyone in this pack gets hurt it will be your fault and you will get into big trouble." He turns and looks around. "Where is Jack?" I shake my head. I think he is still alive, and in the cell, but I could be wrong.

"I think he is still in the cell."

"Why is he in the cell? what the fuck happened?" he looks at me, his eyes still black.

"Well first he attacked a little girl, so I deafened her. Then while he was in the cell I asked if he could tell me where you went and he said he would tell me if I kissed him, I didn't. And then he tried killing me, but a strange man attacked him after I passed out, Cassa took over and saved him. And now I have a huge cut, that Cassa still hasn't healed. Jack should still be in the cells from my knowledge." Phoenix looks surprised now. His eyes are going back to normal.

He walks away, to the house. I follow him, I don't know why but something tells me to follow him. He walks to the basement and to the cell Jack is in. Jack is still alive and stands up quickly. "Oh alpha thank god you're here. Tell your psychotic girlfriend to let me out of here! Please!"

Phoenix looks at me. I know what he is thinking. He doesnt know who is telling the truth. I just sigh and start walking back to Zane, Phoenix won't believe me, why would he?

I sigh and start to walk back outside but I stop when I feel Phoenix wrap his arm around my waist.
"You don't have to leave. Im not letting him out...for now." His voice is different, sadder.

I shake my head and push him away. I can't deal with this shit right now, i just need to get away from Jack. I need to run for a bit. I walk again, this time no one stops me. When I get outside, I see someone I think I know, it feels like I should knoe her, but I dont.
The person stands right in front of me, and im speechless.
