Chapter Three~See The Light

~Mineran's POV~

The person in the ocean keeps laughing, I don't know if it's at me or something else. I look behind me, there is nothing, I turn back to the person in the ocean. I can hear something was behind me, but every time I turned to see what it was, it would move as well so I couldn't see it. It sounded husk, like an alpha wolf hunting, trying to prove to his Luna that he is worthy to mark her. 

I've learned a bit about werewolves than I care to know. I haven't let Phoenix mark me because he needs to prove he is worthy to spend the rest of his life with me, willing to take care of me for life. So far, he hasn't proven it.

I can faintly hear the sound of Beta Jack talking. 

"Ms. Luna, please wake up soon, Alpha has left and you're the Luna, you need to wake up in order to take care of the pack. Please Luna, wake up, for the pack, for Phoenix.......for me." 

I can faintly hear walking, and then a door shutting, then it was silent. 

The person on the water spoke. 

"Wake up. Find me when the water of the ocean swells with fear, I will be there. The moon with be lower even for midnight light. Wishes of children will echo in the wind and glisten when between the water and moonlight. Find me, and I will grant your true wish. I will guild you through tough times." 

With her words I opened my eyes and saw the ceiling of Phoenix's bedroom. I can't move though, my body aches to much. 

Cassa, can you hear me? 

"Yes Luna, I can hear you." 

Good, do you think you can heal my pain, it hurts a lot and I can't move. There was no response. I don't think she wants to heal me, or worse, she can't heal me. 

"I'm sorry Luna, I can't heal you. You need to learn to deal with this on your own, without my help." 

Oh why thank you Cassa, you have officially pissed me off. You can fuck off the rest of the day. 

I whimper loudly when I try to move, it echos through the empty room and I can hear someone walking towards or past the door. I whimper again, this time trying to get whom ever is walking to hear me. I watch the door, it slowly opens and I see that the person was a pack member. A child that reminded me of Zane. She looked so happy when she saw me looking back at her. 

"Luna! You're awake!" 

She ran over to the bed and jumped onto it, sitting next to me. She then hugged me and I tried so hard not to whimper at the pain.

 "Oh No! Did I hurt you? I'm so sorry Luna! Forgive me please!"

 I could see tears starting to form in her eyes. 

"You did nothing to hurt me. Right now i'm sore from laying here for so long. I promise you didn't hurt me." 

She smiled again and I could hear her giggle a little, it made me happy and I smiled warmly at her. 

"Oh I almost forgot to ask you if you wanted me to go tell Beta Jack that you are now awake." I thought a bit about it.

 "Yes please, I would appreciate it" She smiles a lot.

 "Yes Luna, I'll be right back!" 

"Thank you honey."

 She runs out of the room, shutting the door in the process. I can slightly hear her tiny feet running down the stairs. I stare at the ceiling a bit, then start looking around the room and memorizing where everything is. 

~Three Minutes Later~

I hear people running up the stairs. I'm currently counting all the pictures around the room, there is nothing else to do since I can't move and I've counted everything else in the room. The door swings open and the child has tears rolling down her face. She jumps onto the bed and nuzzles her face into my stomach. Jack stomps into the room, I can tell he is pissed at the little girl.

 "What the hell did I say! No one is aloud in this room no matter what!" 

He grabs the child by her long dark brown hair and pulls her off the bed. 

"Luna help!" The next thing I know i'm doing after she yelled that was that I was standing in front of Jack with his throat in my left hand and in my right arm i'm holding the little girl. 

"Touch her again, I fucking dare you. See what happens."  

I throw Jack out the bedroom door and he yelps loudly. I'm sure the entire pack heard him. Without knowing it I had set the child down and started walking towards Jack as he is running down the stairs. When we get to the living room I see that half the pack is there, but I don't care at this point. A chain of smoke forms around my hand and hangs down to the floor. I launch one end of the chain at Jack's foot and it hits him, cuts him, and he falls. He lays in the center of the floor as I stand over him. 

"Ever think about hurting anyone in this pack again I will throw you out of the house and make you live outside like the mutt you are." 

I could tell that everyone was looking at me and Jack. I look at everyone in the room, seeing everyone trying to back away made me realize that I was out of control. I hear her tiny little feet walk up behind me. 

"Ms. Luna? What's going on?" I look at her and she backs away. 

"Why are your eyes pitch black?" Now I get why I do things without knowing it. Cassa is in control. I push her back into submission and take the control back. 

"Nothing is going on, I'm sorry if I scared you." I walk over to her, each step more painful than the last, then I hug her. I can hear growling behind me as Jack gets up and walks towards me. Everyone screams.
