Chapter 15

Kusanagi narrowed his eyes at the screen before him, his fingers swiftly touching the keyboard. "Damn...this is one hell of a virus..." He sighed and looked at the time. 3 AM. Maybe he should just go to sleep... As Kusanagi got up from his seat, a small noise was heard. Kusanagi shrugged it off, thinking it's probably Yusaku or (Y/N). The noise got louder. "Yusaku?..." Kusanagi slowly called out. No response. "(Y/N)?..." Still no response. Kusanagi sighed, it was probably just his mind playing with him. "You know her...~ just as I thought~" Female voice giggled from behind. Kusanagi froze. For some reason, he didn't dare to turn around. There was something strangely off with the person behind him. The female chuckled. "You will make a great bait~" Strange light flashed and once it died down. Kusanagi nor the female were there anymore.

You gave her a confused look. "Talk? About what? What happened?" Just by looking at her expression, you could tell it's something serious. Aki sighed. "I'm gonna try to explain everything, so please trust me. The situation you are currently in is serious. There are people... that are out there, attempting to kill you. And Dennis, is just one of them." You already assumed that since Dennis was the one that tried to kill your mother, that he'd also try to kill you too at some point, but the thought of other people, wandering around and trying to permanently erase you, did make you feel shocked, very scared as well. You lightly gulped.

"How many people are after me? And more importantly, why?..." You slowly asked. "I only know there are four of them, currently." Your (E/C) orbs went wide, four duelists is still a lot. "How strong are they?..." Aki frowned at this question and nodded.

"Just watch out for Dennis and-" Aki was cut off mid sentence, as a knife coming from who-knows-where stabbed her right in the back.

"Aki!!!" You panicked, wrapping your arms around her beck to support her so she wouldn't fall.

"It's not polite to give out spoilers, Aki-Chan~" A playful female's voice spoke. You couldn't see her very well since it was dark outside. You narrowed your eyes in a glare.

"Who are you?!?!" You spat out. Light footsteps were heard, the girl was approaching you.

"G-Gloria..." Aki whispered weakly, You briefly looked down at her, she looks as if she's about to die. You need to get away from this Gloria person and quick.

"Yes, That's my name~ Gloria Tyler, but you probably don't remember me, right, (Y/N)~" The blondette faked a smile, as if she was mocking you in a way. That fake playful smile of hers in a matter of second turned into a more serious.

"Regardless, I will destroy you for what you did to my sister as a Goddess Suicide. Don't try to act like a hero, when you are the true villain that needs to be erased. You... You have no idea how many people have you killed..." Gloria bit her lip, clutching her right hand in a tight fist. She's troubled and angry. You were too, confused as well.

'Why did I do that?... What made me kill all those people... do I really need to be erased?...'

Your thought was interrupted by Aki, clutching onto your shoulder. "I-It's nothing l-like that... (Y-Y/N) isn't a villain, s-she was doing that w-with a g-good reason...." Aki barely managed to stutter out. "Aki..." You looked at her with sad eyes, slowly putting her on your bed, trough the window, making sure to put her on her stomach since she was stabbed in the back.

"I can't believe this..." Gloria chuckled. "Even though you did such horrible things back then, there are people who are still on your side..." Gloria suddenly pulled out another knife, and swiftly threw it in your direction. The knife stabbed you in the shoulder, making you groan loudly in pain. The wound wasn't deep, luckily, but your shoulder was still bleeding as crazy.

"I could just kill you right now, but that would just ruin our plan of making you suffer the same way your victims did..." Gloria looked at you with a wicked grin. You backed away slowly, your vision was getting blurry. Strange, you didn't felt like you're about to pass out, but more like something's taking over your body and mind....

"You are all stupid. Do you think I killed those certain people because I didn't like them, or because I'm just a some sick murderer? If that were the case, I could just kill you off or even Dennis." Your voice become deeper as you spoke, light smirk was on your face.

"It was the only way to save them from Spirit Binding Disease." You continued. Gloria was looking at you suspiciously, processing your words carefully. Still, it didn't seem like she believes your story.

"So that's why you...-" Gloria started, a face she made was full of disgust, as if she was looking at a monster. You laughed and nodded, straightening yourself up, ignoring the pain and the stabbed knife in your shoulder.

"Yup! That's why I killed... him." You continued smiling like an innocent child, and Gloria hated it. She hates you.

"I should've known all of you will get angry after I killed him... my father... Sakaki Yuya~" Gloria was looking at you in horror at the way you just confessed your crime, you didn't even show sadness nor guilt. And that's what scared her the most...
