Chapter 10 - Right In The Nose

Chapter 10

Tristan's POV

I walked upstairs to ask Chloe and Connor if they wanted to go to the beach to walk Poppy - our dog. I went into the room they where in without thinking about knocking. Big mistake. Very big.
"Anybody want to..." I stopped when I couldn't believe my eyes. They where kissing? What? How dare he touch my sister! I stood there in complete shock. They pulled away instantly.
"I can explain..." Connor trailed off.
"What is there to explain? You come here and then kiss my sister!" I was so angry. I clenched my fists getting closer to them.
"Tristan it's not Connor's fault" Chloe said worriedly.
"I swore that if you touched my sister..."
"Tristan!" Chloe cried pulling my arm.
"Get off me!" I shouted. Brad and James must have heard all the shouting as they came running up stairs.
"What happened?" James asked worriedly.
"I came up here to find Connor snogging my sister" I shout reaching my limit. I couldn't hold this for much longer.
"I hardly sno..." That's when I swung for him. Right in the nose.

Damn it. What did I just do?

"WHAT THE HELL TRISTAN?" Chloe cried grabbing ahold of my arms. Oh my god I just punched Connor. James and Brad came running over. James went straight to Connor and took him out of the room, giving me a glare on the way. Brad grabbed a hold of Chloe trying to calm her down.
"What did you do that for?" Brad hissed at me. Chloe was really upset and shaking violently. Oh my god I'm such a stupid idiot! What did I do?!
"How could you?" She cried.
"Shhhh Chloe" Brad was trying his hardest to calm her down but wasn't succeeding.
"I didn't mean to" I stuttered.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU DIDNT MEAN TO? ITS NOT HARD TO STOP YOURSELF FROM PUNCHING SOMEONE!" Chloe shouted back at me.
"Chloe, I'm sorry" I went to touch her arm but she flinched away.
"DONT TOUCH ME" She cried hiding in Brads embrace. What have I done? My own sister is scared of me!
"Don't touch her" Brad hissed again. "What you did was not cool man" he was holding Chloe still, trying to calm her down. "Just get lost" She sobbed. I looked at her awful state that I had created and went into my room. I lay on my bed thinking about how stupid and selfish I had been. I then started to cry and stayed there for hours, not wanting to leave my room.

Chloe's POV

I couldn't believe it. He actually punched Connor, and he did nothing wrong! It's my life, I choose what I want to do! Why was he being so over powering? I was sat on the bed with Brad, he was holding me as I was so upset.
"Shhhh" Brad had been trying to calm me down and I had only just started listening.
"Did I do something wrong?" I whispered.
"No! Nether of you have! I don't know why Tris reacted like that but one things for sure something must have upset him to make him react like that" he said.

After a while we made our way down stairs to find James and Connor sat at the kitchen table. They both instantly stopped taking and looked up at us. Brad still had an arm around me.
"Connor I'm so sorry" I whispered looking at his bruised face. He weakly smiled at me.
"None of this was your fault, it was mine. Don't blame yourself Chloe". I can't believe that my brother did that!
"I'm going to take Con to the hospital to get his nose checked" James said quietly to Brad hoping I wouldn't hear.
"What? Hospital?" I felt my heart drop into the pit of my stomach. "Let me come with you"
"I thinks it's best you stay here" Brad said.
"Please let me go with them" I said trying to hold back the tears.
"Chloe stay here, I think it's better for you too not come with us". Connor gave me a reassuring smile.
"Ok" I whispered. "I'm going to go to my room, text me what they say". I walked upstairs with my mind confused and lost. I still don't understand why he did that...
