"This is crazy" Carlos says as they rush back to the car
"But it just may work" Victoria murmurs taking off the tarps and throwing them over some crates "you know what to do right?"
"We got it"Jay grumbles
"Good and bring Lonnie Jay" Victoria says and winks at him "we might need the extra muscle" Carlos chuckles from the shotgun seat and Jay rolls his eyes and closes the drivers door. They pull out and disappear.
"Come on Jeremy lets go to the docks" Victoria smiles "we have a show to put on"

"What exactly are we doing my Queen?" Jeremy asks as they puts some mirrors around the docks
"It's the art of illusion my dear Jeremy" Victoria smiles "I can't use magic without passing out but I didn't survive on this island for so long without scaring people into thinking that I still had my magic"
"And the mirrors?" Jeremy asks still confused
"Illusions are a very powerful thing" Victoria says and steps behind a pillar only to reappear on the ships deck and emerge behind Jeremy "very handy"
"I see" Jeremy says impressed
"My father taught me a lot of tricks" Victoria says and they step onto the ship "Uma will test the wand before she gives us Ben" she explains mostly to herself as she turns around and pictures how the scene will unfold tomorrow afternoon. She takes a small step to the left and places a small pouch under the planks.
"Jeremy place this over there" she says handing Jeremy some fishing line "take into consideration the suns height and light direction. I don't want anyone seeing it until it's too late" Jeremy nods and does as he's told. A couple of hours later they've finished.
"Now if magic worked then I would hide a rabbit hole at the end of the plank" Victoria says in deep thought "you'll have to be on the look out Jeremy. Make sure Ben doesn't fall into the water"
"Of course my queen" Jeremy bows "but keep in mind that my loyalty and duties lie in protecting you"
"I will" Victoria smiles "well we're done here lets go back" they arrive back at Mal's place where Evie and Mal are already back
"How did it go?" Evie asks
"Everything's good" Victoria sighs "any news on Jay and Carlos?"
"They're almost done they should be here shortly" Mal says, she looks bad
"Get some sleep Mal" Victoria says kindly "you'll need your strength tomorrow"
"I can't" Mal sighs "I'm too worried" Victoria squeezes her arm and blows some dust in her face. Mal falls into Jeremy's arms
"Take her to her room" she orders
"What was that?" Evie asks
"Sleeping powder" Victoria says about to wipe her hand on her jeans "very useful" Evie looks at her hand
"Would you mind?" She asks hesitantly
"Sure" Victoria smiles and blows what's left in Evie face
"Thanks" she mumbles and Victoria catches her.
"You should sleep too my Queen" Jeremy says as Victoria enters Mal's room. Victoria lays Evie down beside Mal and covers them
"I'm not sleepy" Victoria smiles
"You're the one who can use magic" Jeremy says "they need you strong"
"I hate when you use logic against me" Victoria grumbles and goes to the couch "wake me up when it's time" she mumbles and falls fast asleep.
Jeremy shakes her shoulder hours later. Victoria grumbles and slowly opens her eyes
"What?" She asks and runs her eyes
"It's time" Jeremy says
"Time?" Victoria asks groggily "oh time" she says as she remembers what they're going to do.
"The others?" She asks standing up and stretching
"Ready" Jay calls from the kitchen startling Victoria so bad she draws her knife
"Jay Jesus" she growls "use your inside voice"
"This is my inside voice" Jay argues
"Then shut up" Victoria rolls her eyes and goes to the kitchen for some breakfast
"Hey Lonnie" she greets, Lonnie swallows her mouthful and smiles
"Hey Victoria" Lonnie says "bagel?" She offers and Victoria takes it
"Thanks" she says "so what did they tell you?"
"I'm up to speed" she says
"Good" Victoria says "so do you have a date for Cotillion?" Jay chokes on his coffee as Victoria asks very innocently
"No not yet" Lonnie shrugs "I'm thinking of going with my friends"
"Cool" Victoria says "where Carlos?"
"He fell asleep over there" Jay says signaling to the corner of the room where Carlos is curled up with a pillow
"Isn't he uncomfortable?" Lonnie asks
"You learn to sleep anywhere on the isle" Victoria shrugs "it's not that uncomfortable"
"Well wake him up we have to go" Jay says "I'll go wake up Mal and Evie" Victoria kneels beside Carlos and shakes him awake
"We have to go Carlos" she says softly "you have ten minutes to get ready"
"I am ready" he mumbles "wake me up in five" Victoria chuckles
"Carlos man wake up!" Jay calls from across the room and Carlos throws him the pillow
"Fine I'm up" Carlos grumbles "happy?"
"Very" Jay chuckles Carlos flips him off and pours himself a cup of coffee.
"Lets go" Mal says five minutes later
"Alright" Victoria says rolling her shoulders
"Lets go save the crown" Jay cracks his knuckles
