Keke POV

"Come on!" Logan begged, practically dragging me and Deja through the mall. "You're too slow!" she groaned.

Deja and I laughed at Logan's rush and shook our heads. She wanted to buy clothes for her date tonight with Avery. She said he was taking too long to ask so she decided to ask him herself. He, fortunately, said yes. Tonight he was picking her up to take her to go to the movies before he takes her to some restaurant. I think she said they were going to McDonald's? I honestly don't know. But then again, you can never take Logan seriously. She's as goofy and crazy ad Avery is. It was probably one of the reasons why I always got along well with her. Because she was different.

Yeah, Logan was a cheerleader and all, but unlike the other cheerleaders, Logan wasn't afraid to get dirty. She was more of a crazy, funny, pretty tomboy who liked doing every sport there was for her. The only sports Logan refused to play were ones with minimal movement or the ones that were boring such ad ping-pong and tennis. She said those sports needed more moving and maybe then, she would try out for the teams. They wouldn't even let her put her own swing to it. She always did want to outdo everyone else.

"It's not that big of a deal." Deja reassured. "It's McDonald's, right?"

Logan rolled her eyes. "I dunno. He won't tell me- which is completely retarded because I asked him out. I think I should be paying for the whole thing. But he suddenly wants to be a gentleman and not let me pay."

One thing you guys should take notice in Logan was that she believed girls and guys should be equal in every way. She believed that girls should grow balls and ask guys out and that girls can pay for the tickets and meals and stuff like that. She hated being catered to, which was probably why guys always wanted to date her. I mean, she was the cheapest girl you could date. Mainly because you're most likely not going to be paying for a thing. She waned to pay. But after realising that guys liked that most about her, Logan has a hard time trusting guys and wanting to date them.d

She must see something in Avery to want to date him all of a sudden.

"Oh my God! Keke I can't do this anymore. You gotta come with us!" Logan insisted.

"Who would I go with? I haven't heard from Khalil in like ... two weeks!"

"Sanchez. He likes you." Logan insisted.

"But I'm dating Khalil. That's cheating, isn't it?"

Deja shrugged and Logan shook her head. "Not if you don't kiss him or something like that."

I sighed "I'll think about it... But I can't to that too Khalil."

Logan rolled her eyes and sighed. "Whatever." Whoa. Attitude?

"I'm gonna try it this place." Logan said before running inside of a random store.

Deja and I walk slowly behind Logan as we made our way to the food court part of the mall. It was 3:36 and we hadn't eaten all day, thanks to Logan's inconsiderate desire to get to the mall early without warning us ahead of time. We'd been out the house since eight in the morning and I haven't had a real meal since lunch time yesterday.

My stomach was growling so loud, you'd think it was a lion roaring. I swear it growled in a quiet part of Forever XXI and scared someone half to death. She literally turned ghost white thinking the Lion King was for real.

Maybe I'm dragging it... but in all honesty, try starving for twenty three hours with your last meal being fries, a burger, and a milkshake from Wendy's. It's torture.

"Guys, we have half an hour before we go to get my make up supplies and shoes." Logan said, starting her stopwatch. "Hurry up and find a meal."

Deja rolled her eyes and skipped away to get food. Logan and I waited behind and stood on line for a Japanese restaurant. I ordered chicken teriyaki with white rice while Logan gets an order of bourbon chicken with the noodles.
