Chaper 5: forever?

Kara's P.O.V

I rush out of the movie theaters. I can't breathe, no matter how much I try it's as if there's no air, Daniel is right behind me now and I start walking towards the exit. Before I take one step everything goes blurry.

Daniel places a hand on my back and I try to scream at him to get off but I can't, I try "doctor, doctor, get a doctor, she can't breathe! Jack call a doctor" Daniel yells and suddenly I'm aware of Jack and Aspen.

I push away from them and into a wall, I lean against it gasping for air when Daniel walks over to me. Before I know it his lips are on mine and I can breathe again, as if he's breathing life into me, as if only he can stop the pain.

He lets go and I look at him with wide eyes, I look away when Aspen stomps towards him "when my father hears about this, he will never be your manager ever again! Understand?" She yells

Jack suddenly cheers and Daniel just laughs, Aspen looks at me with hatred and storms off "are you okay? You don't need anything? Your fine now? You can breathe?" He asks, I just smile and nod.

I look at Jack and he's not cheering now, he's watching me and Daniel and I feel guilty "I'm fine, I just wanna go home, like right now, I'm over the movie and just tired" I say walking past Daniel and out of the theaters.

Jack and Daniel start walking after me, neither of them talking so when we get to the truck Jack just hops in behind the wheel. I sit in the passenger seat and can't help but smile when Jack looks over at me, he smiles as well.

I can feel Daniels glare from the backseat aimed at Jack and I look at him annoyed "why were you two there anyway? Jacks seen the movie, I thought you didn't like it" he says annoyed himself.

I look out the window and the car goes silent, neither me, nor Jack offering an explanation "we were on a date, like you an Aspen but I guess after you kissed her, we're over" Jack finally says causing me to laugh.

When we get back to the house I jump out of the car and say goodnight before they can stop me and rush into my house. I stop in my tracks when I find my old friend staring back at me, hurt in his eyes and tears down his face.

Daniels P.O.V

I look at my phone, the article facing at me, I can't believe she went through this at fifteen. She was so young and beautiful, yet she had to go through things like this? And loosing a twin, that's like loosing a part of you.

I look out my window and up at her room it's just above my window, a fence in between. Her light turns on just before I'm about to look away and her blinds open, she doesn't notice me because she turns back to someone and crosses her arms.

A boy walks over to the window and leans against it, he's tall, but even from here I can see the tears. He walks back over to her and places a hand on her cheek, she moves away from it clearly angry now.

She yells something and he just nods, when she's finished he says something along the lines of an apology but she shakes her head. She sits down, obviously dizzy and it makes me worry, she should be asleep.

He starts yelling and I'm already standing, if this goes on, she'll pass out, and maybe even get more sick. I start to walk out of the house when I'm stopped by Jack and Zach, great, now how will I help her?

Jack crosses his arms and steps in front of the front door, while Zach steps forwards "you and Kara are very close, we get that, but Aspen is angry, we don't have a manager" he says.

If I wasn't so worried about Kara I would bring myself to care, but I can't not now "okay, I'll talk to David tomorrow, it's late, I need to go get a snack, I'll be back after" I make up an excuse.

Jack can see the worry in my eyes and I know he's going to call me up on it so I sigh "I need to see her, I'm worried about her after tonight, please, I need to see her" I plead and Zach nods so does Jack.

Then Corbyn and Jonah appear, they all seem to have ganged up on me, great, just great "ok, but only if you promise to never see her again, we can't have you being like this" Jonah says.

Corbyn nods and steps forward trying to be understanding, but I move away "your kidding? Corbyn can be worried when his girlfriend is sick, but when my friend is sick you say no?" I ask.

"But she's not just your friend, Jack told us about the kiss tonight" Zach says.

"A kiss? It was to stop the panic attack, was I supposed to let her stop breathing?"

"What Zach is trying to say is that your friends now, what about in the future" Jonah asks.

"What about Jack? Have you not seen the way he looks at her? I'd be more worried about him if I were you" I say.

"That's a lie! I'm just friends with her, the whole point of our 'date' was to see what you and Valery were doing" Jack says.

I shake my head and rush out the back door, they chase after me but I just keep rushing through the bushes around the side and over the fence. I knock on Kara's door only to come face to face with the boy she was fighting with holding a knife, with blood dripping off it.
