Future*
I smile down at our intertwined hands and look up at the brown haired boy before me, I cant believe we're here. I look over at the crowd shouting my name and smile, he's been here all the way.
He's been the one who saw the real me, and saw who I was, I grab the mic and head into that stage after one last kiss. He smiles and pushes me onto the stage, I sing my heart out and the crowd screams.
Once I'm done, I return to the backstage and strong arms wrap around my waist, I giggle and spin around to see him. He smiles and kisses my nose congratulating me on my performance I smile and get ready for my next one.
When the shows over I take an Uber home, knowing he'll be there making some dinner with our yappy husky waiting impatiently at his feet. When I open the door I smell chili and I thank the lord I have him.
I walk into the kitchen but he's not there, that's when he leaves a kiss on my temple from behind and I smile. I turn around and kiss him, he's my one and only, when we part I think about what's happened.
We've been together for two years now, he's turning twenty really soon and then he plans to go travel a bit. He's asked me to come and I'm still working out my schedule for that year, but I know I will go.
Because as that one song says "anywhere I go I'm taking you"
