There is this girl which can read everyone's feelings
The flaunt of their hand even the simple twitches of their body
Incredible chic with a charismatic aura and dazzling
She who got nothing but just her brains and right reasonings
And now there is this boy who is easy going
Got a carefree vibe and cool personality
A slacker, simple minded being
He who met this girl that will start a story that still don't have an ending.
One night of summer, a year long time ago
They got bumped into a gathering which means nothing to the two
They chatted for formality and then they got a lil bit close
But that didn't lasted for a year and then become strangers, them both.
But not for too long, their path intertwined again
Just like a legend of true loves red strings
They hang out and see each other frequently
And then suddenly, this girl acted differently.
Conscious of her dress, the size she is gaining
The way she should act whenever they're dating
The way he looks and where he is touching
So she fix her thought and ask him out for something.
She laid her hair down and clip it with a pin
She chose a dress over her big size tees
She even put a light make up and wear a heel
She's ready to go with a loud band like throbbing
Finally he saw her and then she painted a smile
He greeted her with a 'hi' and then she smiles
This is now or never, she whispered softly to herself
There's no turning back and so she started
Her face turned serious and his got confused
"I like you" she finally muttered and then he stared at her, lost
For words that she expected to be nice and accepting
But her bubble got popped and he just reacted casually
Coz of sudden rush, she said many things that way out of line
It's too late to take it all back and make everything fine
What more surprising is what he replied
"You're my best friend", the best line to break someone right?
She got upset so she take some break
And then she realize that its still okay
She won't ask for anything so that he'll stay
He'll be just a friend, no more than that thing
So everything went on perfect and now they get along well
Been together with each other twenty~four seven
Will it last and stay as just friends?
I'm not the one making destinies so we shall wait til it's finally decided.
