"Wait, so let me get this straight," I say with over-exaggerated hand gestures and facial expressions. "They put a guy and a girl in the same room? Isn't that, like, the opposite of what they're supposed to do?"

"Seems like it," he shrugs, speaking with the best British accent I've ever heard. The shock blinded me from hearing his accent.

         "So, what's your name?"

         "I'm Ellie," I say.

"Callum," he smiles and holds out his hand. I shake it.

"I, uh, promised my friend that I'd visit her after I got my things settled, so I'm gonna go put my stuff in my room and leave," I say, pointing at the suitcase by the door. He nods at me, and I grab my stuff. I pause. "Which one is mine?"

He points towards the room on the right side. I nod as a thank you, then head that way. Opening the door, I see that it's a plain room. There's a bed, a nightstand, a dresser, a closet, a desk, and not much else. A lamp sits on the nightstand, one on the desk, and the closet has a bunch of hangers hanging on the metal rod inside it. I drag my suitcase into the room, my backpack on top of it. I set it down by the door, and put my backpack onto the bed. I take out a few things from my backpack. My laptop, which I put on the desk. My glasses, which I put in the nightstand drawer. I leave the rest for later. Aubrey should be expecting me. I turn off the lights and exit the room.

"I'll be going now," I say to Callum.

"Alright, see you in a bit," he smiles and I want to explode. I don't usually fall for people quickly, but everything about him just... the way he smiles, the way his voice sounds... it's all just too much for me.

I grab my keys before leaving the room. I shut the door behind me and turn around, not bothering to lock the door. I knock on the door across from my room and Aubrey opens it.

"What do you want?" she greets me enthusiastically. Yeah, definitely.

"Weren't you the one that wanted me to come here?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"Oh, right," she says, opening the door wider. "Come in."

I step into the room and wave towards Tiffany, who's sitting on the couch. I'm finally able to get a good look at her. She has long black wavy hair, that reaches to her chest. With her hair tucked behind one ear, I can see the piercings along it. A standard lobe, an upper lobe, and two helixes. I remember the piercings I have on my ear. She's wearing a little bit of makeup, though it was natural makeup. Other than her lips, which were a dark red. Objectively speaking, she's very attractive.

"So, meet your roommate yet?" Aubrey asks me.

"Yeah, I did," I nod. "He-"

"He?" Aubrey asks and I nod again.

"Like I was saying, he's a pretty nice guy from what I can tell. I don't know much about him, though."
