         "Do you still love me?" he asks, in a pleading tone. Before I can respond, he steps into the washroom. I don't even feel him pull me inside. I don't hear the door close. I don't feel the cold beneath my feet. I don't feel anything other than pain.

         Ellie Anderson, a girl of 23, has never lived a normal life. Dealing with loss isn't easy for anyone, even to her - someone who has had to deal with it on multiple occasions. Hoping to get away from her sorrowful past, she escapes to college with her friends. With a history of twists and changes in her life, she realizes that things aren't going to be as she thought they would be.

         In this story about romance, friendship, happiness, and self-discovery, the bitter truth of the current state of the world is always present. With bad memories in one hand and anxiety in the other, things aren't looking so good for Ellie in this so-called "fresh start".

3. LGBTQ+ content (many of the characters identify with labels part of the LGBTQ+ community. If you're not into that, then don't read the story)

4. Somewhat crude humour? (the characters in this story are young adults, as they are 23. I mean, what would you expect?)

5. This story is one that is both sad and drama-filled. It's very angsty. If you were looking for a happy, fluffy slice-of-life romance, this isn't the story for you. If you were looking for an angsty, depressing, sad, (emphasis on the angsty) "slice-of-life" romance, then continue onwards!
