Joshua Uley II is a rebellious teenager. He gets into fights, he lashes out, is failing all his classes and has no respect for anyone. Because of that his family -- mostly his father, has had enough. Without even a second thought, or asking how he felt on the situation, he's shipped off to the La Push reservation to live with his older brother, whom he didn't even know existed until about two days before!
