Vroom vrooooom vrrrrooooommm...
The Doctor parked the TARDIS a few yards outside of the camp, but close enough that it would provide a quick getaway, if necessary. The Doctor had been very glad to see the TARDIS again. He was anxious to find Rose, however, so he was quick to pick his way through the foliage and to the camp.
The gravel crunched under the Doctor's converse as he made his way toward the tent Kaguya stayed in. The dark was only accentuated by a fire lit to his left a few yards and tents away. Luckily, his eyes were better adapted for the dark, so he didn't have quite as much trouble as a human would have. He knew it was late, but it was imperative that he make sure she was alright. So he didn't stop to ask for entrance. However, when he opened the tent door and found Kaguya sound asleep with the cot on the other side of the cozy tent empty, he knew that Rose was in trouble.
Where could she be? He quickly scanned around the tent, making sure she hadn't just stepped out for a breather. He decided to go ask the gents around the fire if they had seen her. As he made his way along the path, he noticed small droplets of blood staining the ground. It appeared fresh. Although not there wasn't much, the Doctor's stomach turned. He crouched down and dabbed his finger in the droplet of blood. He brought it to his tongue. Although not as pleasant as other things that helped him identify her, he recognized Rose's distinctive taste. He quickly followed the trail, suddenly very worried for Rose's safety.
He quickly located a large tent behind the armoury. He saw that she went inside, and then left. But there was a substantially higher amount of blood on the path leading away. Worried and still curious, he stepped inside of the tent.
"Well this doesn't quite fit in. At least the interior doesn't. Must be some kind of cloaking device. Rudimentarily similar to the TARDIS. How did the Japs get their hand on this beauty? They said they had a weapon... a big weapon." The Doctor paused from his rant and looked at the large trail of blood leading away from the tent-spaceship. "Oh no, no, no. This isn't good." He worriedly ran a hand through his hair and followed the trail of blood.
His hearts beat rapidly as he quickly trailed the large droplets of blood. He soon found that it led to a tent where two guard were stationed. He hung back, watching them. He didn't recognise them, so he didn't believe they would recognise him. So he approached, pulled out his psychic paper. "Here to see the prisoners." He said, throwing a bet that Rose wasn't the only one being held in there.
One guard examined the Doctor's ID and nodded, stepping aside to let him in. He nodded his thanks before stepping inside the moderate sized grey tent. He frowned upon entering. Two Frew-Daxians were tied up with coarse rope and laid on the floor, struggling. It was clear that one was injured. The Doctor realised that these two were who the ship belonged to and that they'd been tortured by the Japanese. Just beyond them, Rose lay unconscious on the ground. He felt his stomach clench at the sight.
He leaned down next to one Frew-Daxian, who was trembling and trying to scoot away. "I'm here to help. I'm here to set you free. Can you both walk?" The Doctor dug in his pocket while they both nodded, clearly weary but enthused to be released. His hand closed on a knife and he pulled it out. He cut them free.
Quickly, he leaned out of the tent, pretending to be asking a question of the guards. Instead, he pinched the nerve between their shoulder and neck which made them pass out and fall to the ground.
Victorious, he returned to the tent. Knowing that the Frew-Daxian fluorescent blue skin and three eyes would stand out, the Doctor check around the tent before gesturing for the two Frew-Daxians to leave. He quickly grabbed Rose bridal style and showed them the way to the TARDIS, avoiding running into anyone. Just as they reached the TARDIS, they heard shouts and alarms.
"They figured it out."
