The Doctor slapped away yet another vine. His skin was drenched in sweat and he felt itchy. The air was heavy and humid. Physically, he was miserable. But he could feel that the TARDIS was near. He'd been walking for hours following the subtle buzzing the TARDIS gave off. Although not noticeable to humans, the humming echoed in his hearts so he could feel where it was. This was not unusual for Time Lords to experience.

The humming was stronger. It took a lot of effort to focus on the buzz, which left him exhausted. He was determined to find the TARDIS, however.

Birds chirped high in the trees above him. Wildlife darted around him, oblivious to his presence. A snake slithered along the path the Doctor had been following. The Doctor stared at it as he continued on, fascinated by the multiple colours and designs on the creature. The sky darkened and night fell. The Doctor used his sonic to light his path.

Smack!

The Doctor stumbled back. He looked up, dazedly realising he'd run into the TARDIS, the light from inside the windows shining down on him. A huge grin spread on his face.

"Found you."

Rose waited until Kaguya's breathing slowed to a smooth rhythm before stumbling to her feet. She had to stop for a moment when she stood on her feet. The pain was so intense she couldn't think past it. Slowly, the pain became more bearable. It was still there, mind you, but she could think around it.

Stumbling out of the tent, she listened for people around her. It seemed most of the camp was asleep. She saw a few metres away, men were 'round a campfire talking among themselves. Rose staggered along the path, avoiding the things strewn across the path. She could feel something warm on her stomach. She realised her wound was bleeding again. She knew she needed to get back and lay down soon.

Rose looked around, realising she had no idea where to go. She skirted around the campfire, careful to stay far enough back that none of the men would see her. Finally, she came across a tent that had an open flap. Inside, weapons were organized into piles. It was the armoury. She walked around behind it, spying another large tent.

She felt a little lightheaded. Never before had she regretted sticking her nose into business the Doctor told her to stay out of, but now she was wondering if this was that great of an idea. She was wounded fairly bad, after all.

The sighed, pulling the large tent's flap aside. Light from the campfire didn't reach this far, leaving the tent in shadows. The moon wasn't out, which made matters worse. When she stepped inside, she heard a light humming, and the interior of the tent suddenly lit up a light blue.

She walked towards where the light was coming from: a small panel on a pedestal raised out of the ground. The pedestal was a silver-grey metal and the panel read, "Unlock to engage battle mode". Rose looked at it quizzically, confused.

She froze when she heard gravel shift underfoot.

"What are you doing in here?"
