"Welcome to Marriage 101!" The teacher chirped. It was 9:30 in the morning, and Jennie had already wanted to go home. It was also the first day of school, and she yearned for the school year to be over.

"We'll be doing a lot this school year, and you will all be able to learn lots of things that will be useful when you are all starting your own families."

Rosè shared a look with Jennie.

"Here is the syllabus for this school year." She began handing out the papers. "So tomorrow we will be assigning partners and getting married!"

The class collectively raised their eyebrows at her excitement.

Jennie rolled her eyes at the tackiness. She felt something bounce off her head, which broke her out of her thoughts. She looked towards Rosè, who was reading over the syllabus. She turned in her chair and scanned the room for the culprit.

Her eyes landed on a smirking Taeyong Lee. He was staring her down before she had moved in her chair, it seemed.

Taeyong always made way out of his day to bother Jennie in any shape or form. It ranged from endless remarks, to making her life miserable. It was just a start to another school year.

Rosè finally took notice in Taeyong's usual antics and rolled her eyes. "Just ignore him, Jen."

If ignoring him made him go away, she'd be content. It just wasn't that easy. Nothing was ever that easy. At least for Jennie.

Ignoring him and tuning into the teacher's ongoing speech for the class, the bell finally rang. Jennie packed up her things and headed out alongside Rosè.

The two girls went through their respective classes together, seeing who they were going to have to deal with for the year, how their teachers were like, and if their classes were going to be easy to manage.

The two girls sat on Rosè's bed after an exhausting day. They wouldn't get real homework until tomorrow or the day after that.

"Do you want to stay over for dinner?"

"Sure, my parents' haven't gone grocery shopping yet anyways," she sat up from Rosè's bed, staring at her nails.

"I wonder who our partners will be. None of the other classmates are dating each other, which is surprising. There's always that one couple that get a class together."

Jennie nodded in agreement. "That's good, I didn't need another reason to be annoyed first thing in the morning."

"Girls! Dinner's ready in 10!" Mrs. Park called from downstairs. The girls answered with an okay and resumed their conversations.

Soon enough, dinner was ready and the two went downstairs to talk about how their days went.

The next day, Jennie was back in the same classroom, that was of Mrs. Nam. She studied the list of, what Jennie assumed were the partners, and scanned the room. As the final bell rang, she placed her clipboard back on her desk, and changed her face from pensive to the smiling one she always had.

She stood up from partly sitting on her desk and waited for the students to settle in their seats and quiet down. "Good morning, class. I hope you have all been anticipating for today. It is where the fun begins. Where the unexpected pops out at the most random times." She had a pleased smile with herself and began walking slowly in front of the room.

She was right about the anticipation of today. Jennie had spent a good amount of time last night wondering what was going to happen.

"I have carefully picked students in each of my classes, so the pairings wouldn't be too predictable." Mrs. Nam carries on, walking back towards her desk to retrieve her clipboard.
