It was a chilly early morning. Condensation was all over the houses' windows, as Jennie wiped it away to look outside. The sun was shining, giving it an illusion it was warmer than it actually was.

"Jen! Come get your breakfast! And Rosè is here."

"Alright," she called from her closet, looking for a light jacket to wear on the bus. She heard the front door closing, and her mother conversating with Rosè. She picked out a green jacket and threw it on.

Downstairs, Rosè was eating a small plate of breakfast, and one was left for Jennie.

"Eat up, Jennie. You're going to be late if you don't." Her mother said, pinning up her hair. Jennie nodded and grabbed a spoon, digging in.

About 10 minutes later, the girls finished their plates, placing them in the sink. They hugged Jennie's mom goodbye and took Jennie's things to the car.

Jennie spent the drive there staring out the window, taking in the good warm weather before winter came. She snapped out of her thoughts when Rosè spoke.

"Huh?" She asked, turning away from the window to face her friend.

"I said, how was the rest of the dinner last night?"

"Oh, it was alright. Taeyong went to bed early. Or at least to his room. His mom showed me pictures."

"Aww, that's so cute."

The rest of the drive was relatively quiet. They pulled onto school property. Some of their classmates were already waiting outside with their belongings, chattering among themselves.

Rosè parked towards the back and helped Jennie with some of her things. They greeted their classmates and politely conversated with them.

Time passed quickly, as the rest of their classmates and their teacher arrived. The bus had finally arrived.

"Good morning, class! We'll board the bus once your belongings are on." Mrs. Nam instructed, pointing to the compartments below the bus. The closest students near the bus went first.

Rosé and Jennie took a couple of seats and sat together. Students starting filing on the bus, as the crowd outside got smaller. Mrs. Nam checked everything was in order and boarded the bus.

"Before we leave, I want all you to sit with your partners." She placed her hands casually on her hips, followed by a groan from her students. She watched as the young adults made their way to their companions and settled once again. Mrs. Nam was then satisfied and sat down in her own seat. The bus driver took off from the school property.

Taeyong was in the aisle seat of the bus, scrolling through his social media  accounts. Jennie played with her fingers, wanting to conserve her own battery level until later during the ride. She glanced to the other side of the aisle, where Doyoung and Rosé sat watching a movie on her tablet, sharing earbuds.

Jennie started getting a little drowsy about 45 minutes into the drive, and felt herself nodding off. She looked outside the window and found herself drifting away to oblivion.

The next thing she felt was someone lightly shaking her away. Taeyong had a mischevious smile on his face. She didn't know if she was imagining it or not, since she was trying to figure out the rest of her surroundings. "We're here." Taeyong said, standing up from his seat.

Jennie looked out the windows and saw they were parked on the dirt road, with the entire campgrounds in front of them, stretching out for miles. Jennie slowly got up and finally woken up completely.

She stepped off the bus and saw some of her classmates giving her strange looks, some even having a small smile on their faces', looking away before Jennie saw them.
