Jennie woke up an hour before she usually did for school, and sent a text to her mother. She said she didn't feel too good, and that she'd go to school tomorrow. Her mother never questioned her much, since she was a good daughter with no disciplinary issues. She had fallen back asleep before she could think about yesterday.

When she woke again, the sun was shining well in through her bedroom windows. It took her a few seconds to remember the events that occurred last night, and she had started sobbing silently to herself. That was the worst type of sadness, in her opinion. She felt lost, and wanted to hold him, because she felt like he was feeling the same way, if not worse.

A knock came from her door. She looked in surprise and saw her bestfriend, holding a cup of tea in her hands. She had a reassuring, yet sad smile on her face. She stepped inside of her room.

"Rosie? What are you doing here?" Jennie finally mumbled through her groggy throat. She only managed to prop herself up on her elbows, and leaned on her fluffy pillows.

"Well, I figured I should be here for you. Jaehyun told me what had happened, although he doesn't know everything," she sat down on Jennie's vanity chair, and set the cup of tea down. "Here is some tea, whenever you want it."

Jennie nodded and offered a small smile in thanks. She moved to sit up on her bed, wiping away her drying tears. "Its been... a long day, yesterday."

A silent pause passed. Jennie looked down at her bedsheets, and played with her long hair.

"I'm here, if you want to talk about it. I'll be here all day, if I have to."

Jennie then started talking about the conversation with Yuta, and how she brought up the whole music situation with him, and, just like she had thought, he got upset. She then said Hayi suggested to leave work early and go check on Taeyong herself.

"What did Jaehyun say to you?" She interrupted her own story, to see what he had saw.

"Not much, really. He said you had came over, he was in the kitchen, so he didn't hear what had happened. He then mentioned you looked just saw a ghost, and was looking a bit shaky. Then you left in a hurry, crying."

Jennie sighed, and closed her eyes. She felt embarassed for having acted like that in front of someone she hardly knew, but she didn't care at the moment.

"Well, basically I had questioned why he was being so weird, ever since Friday. I asked if it had anything to do with Joy. I really couldn't think of anything else, I mean, from how I see it, he and his parents are fine."

Rosé sat in silence, waiting for her to continue on. She handed her the cup of tea, and Jennie gladly took it.

"Then, he thought it was ridiculous I thought he was acting all weird because of Joy. I knew it was too, but I was really racking my brain for something else. Anyways, I got irritated after that, and then he started telling me about the whole situation with Joy. He said he wanted to try dating her, and it didn't work out, and he realized what he really wanted in a partner."

Jennie paused and drank the warm tea. It did a good job of soothing her throat, which was still groggy. She took a few moments to savor the drink. She handed back the mug to Rosé, and she continued.

"He started listing the qualities that she lacked, and said he didn't just want anyone, he wanted to be with me."

Rosé gasped and covered her mouth.

"You're lying."

Jennie giggled at her friend's reaction, and shook her head.

"Nope. His words exactly."
