The night had passed quickly and then came the next morning. Jennie was preoccupied with thoughts of Yuta. She knew he had meant no harm, but it still managed to somewhat hurt her. She didn't like being told what to do with her life, she had enough coming from her parents.

There wasn't much said during the movie last night, only little comments during some scenes, and laughter in others. Afterwards he had hugged her goodnight and headed home.

Jennie had wanted to forget the little comment he made about her future, but it was bothering her that he hadn't been more supportive, or even a little optimistic. It didn't quite matter what he thought, she had wanted someone to believe in her.

She hadn't realized someone appeared next to her by her locker and she had jumped. She looked up and saw Taeyong there, with a blueberry muffin in his hand.

"Good morning. I had bought you this as an apology for yesterday. I guess I'm really stressed out." He offered the wrapped goodie in his hand towards her. She smiled and thanked him quickly while unwrapping the baked good.

"It's okay, I accept your apology. We all have those days." She took a small sniff of the muffin before taking a small bite.

"Do you want to walk to class together? Mine's down the hall from yours."

She nodded and the two walked through the school together.

"I have something to ask you, would you be interested in helping me with songwriting and performing? Jaehyun mentioned you liked stuff like that. There's that talent showcase coming up soon, and I'd like to try it out," she held her books tightly to her chest, anticipating his answer.

"Ah, you're going to try it out? That'd be something fun to see. I haven't been really doing stuff like that lately, but I'd help you out for sure."

"Really?" Her face lit up at his response. "I'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much!" She had gotten even more excited and gave him a quick hug. He hadn't had the time to react by the time she let go. The look of surprised filled his face. Jennie realized it was a bit weird of her to do that, but she was still overwhelmed with excitement.

"It's no problem, so how about we start at soon as possible?"

"Yes, of course. Does Friday after school work?"

Taeyong nodded, and saw out of the corner of his eye someone waving. He looked and saw Joy with a huge smile, waving quite flirtatiously at him, as she's talking to her friends. He waves back at her, feeling a little awkward.

Jennie furrows her eyebrows in confusion. "Why is Joy waving and looking at you like that?"

"We, uh, kind of went on a date last night," he said, feeling even more awkward.

She looked at him in shock. "Really? I didn't even know you guys knew the other existed. That's good for you, though. I think you two dating would make you really happy."

All he did was nod. He didn't know about all of that yet. It was just one date, and that was the most they've talked ever. He didn't feel like explaining that to her.

"Yeah, I think she'll want to go out again."

Someone came from behind and put an arm around Jennie. Taeyong was alarmed and about to yell at the person, to see it was just Yuta.

"Good morning, Jennie," Yuta grinned, playing with a strand of her hair. She greeted him back and gave him a hug. Taeyong scoffed at the cheesy affection the two were currently doing, forgetting how close he was. Thankfully, they were too occupied with each other they didn't hear. Yuta got out of the embrace and greeted Taeyong.
