Pranks and Friendship

"Ok, so how do I get up the boys staircase to plant the dungbomb without being caught by the guys?" I murmured to myself whilst sitting cross legged on the floor of my dorm room.

"You have a pet dragon" Marlene's dog said.

The girls had finally managed to get the three mischievous animals to come back to the school as they seemed to like the freedom they got at their respective homes. Lily's dog was also staying with us in our dorm instead of the head dorm that Lily was sleeping in.

"That's true, reckon I could send her into the guy's dorm?" I asked smirking at the animals before me.

"Yeah" Marlene ad Alice's dogs said.

"You probably shouldn't do this" Lily's dog said making me roll my eyes.

"As much as I shouldn't prank my friends, they would prank me so it doesn't matter" I said before whistling for my dragon and ignoring the rest of the dogs complaints.

"Hey Snowflake" I said patting my dragon as she landed on my shoulder. "I've got a job for you" I smirked.

"WHO THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY TO PRANK US?!" A loud voice yelled about an hour later when I was sitting doing homework with Lily and Alice in the common room. We saw Sirius run down the stairs.

"Hmmm" Lily said looking up as he walked over to our table.

"Why did you prank us Alice" He said staring directly into my eyes.

"Pardon" I said politely staring back at him.

"Was this because we didn't trust you" He said putting emphasis on the 'didn't trust you' part.

"No, it was because you still haven't apologised dimwit. It's been two weeks now" I said rolling my eyes and leaning on one arm against the table.

"I'm sorry" He said hanging his head.

"Took your damn time didn't you, I never thought you would be the one to shy away from things Padfoot" I said raising my eyebrows and letting out a light laugh.

"Well, when it comes to apologising I never know when the right time to do it is, i'm a big procrastinator" He revealed.

"Well, you will never be good with apologising if you never have to do it, I just go by the term, 'If they aren't willing to accept your apology, they aren't a good friend', it works" I joked.

"Well, hopefully i'll never have to do it again" He said crossing his fingers.

"Agreed" I said also crossing mine.

"But, just because we are friends again doesn't excuse the prank you pulled on us" He said his face darkening.

"Hey, I had to get back somehow, maybe find a way to give you a memo to hurry up" I said raising my hands in a way to show my surrender.

"Ehh, fair enough, I would've done it too, anyway, i'm leaving you to explain what happened to Peter and Remus" He smirked skipping off. I groaned out loud.

"Well, prepare my funeral" I joked standing up and walking out to find the other two boys.

"Your kidding right Ali" Remus said with wide eyes whilst Peter stood quietly thinking over what I had just mentioned.

"I wish I was, but I had to get back at Sirius somehow" I said shrugging.

"And in the process you just so happened to get at both Peter and I" Remus said raising his eyebrows.

"Maybe" I said looking down before looking back up at Remus and Peter and deciding to escape the scene. "Love ya" I smiled running away quickly before they could process what had happened.

"You look tired Ali" Lily said as I sat down at the table in the great hall out of breath after just running through the school.

"Yeah..."

"Hey girls, mind if we sit here?" James asked walking over. Alice and Marlene looked to each other whilst Lily smiled, something new for her in the presence of James.

"Sure" She smiled warmly. Marlene choked on her food as Alice hit her on the back. I smiled happily smirking at Lily who caught my glance and blushed deep red.

"So, how was your day" He smiled, looking more towards Lily then the rest.

"Yeah, pretty good, I studied most of the time, what about you?" Lily responded making Marlene choke again.

"It was pretty decent, I had to go ask Slughorn about that potions essay, i'm so confused" James said before filling his mouth with food.

"I could help with that, it's the most I could do after you helped me with that DADA essay" Lily suggested.

"That would help, thanks"

"No problem"

I stared at my two friends happily taking in the fact that they could now have a civil conversation and were helping each other. It didn't take much to see how in love with each other they were. They'd just have to act on that, and I was sure that was going to happen very soon.
