Chad's POV

'Ring ring ring'

I groaned and opened my eyes, blinking a couple times to get used to the morning sunlight seeping through the window and onto my face. I looked around my bed for my phone till I spotted it on my bedside table. I picked it up and pressed answer.

"Hello?"

"Dude wake the hell up! It's 7:30, school starts in 30 minutes get your fatass to school!" my oh so friendly best friend Josh said through the phone.

"Okay okay I'm up sheesh no need to get your panties in a twist!"

"No problem" I didn't need to see to know he was smirking on the other line.

I hung up and stretched and slowly got out of my bed and walked to the bathroom. I lazily turned on the water and stripped off my clothes and got into the shower. I sighed as the hot water cascaded down my soar muscles.

Once I was all washed and cleaned I got out and dried off. I wrapped the towel around my waist and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I have mild shaggy light brown hair and bright blue eyes. I have an athletic toned body and height of around 6'2.

I was pretty attractive I suppose, girls always throw themselves at me and frankly I find it gross.

Yes people you read right, I Chad Dillon am gay, but the problem is I'm still in the closet. I haven't come out to anyone not even Josh who I've known since I was 7. Don't get me wrong it's not like I'm ashamed of who I am, but I'm just scared my parents won't except me and will kick me out of the house and ill lose all my friends.

I put those negative thoughts out of my mind and walked back into my room. I dress in a simple blue tee that snugs my body and dark jeans and simple black converse.

I make my way downstairs and into the kitchen. My parents are sitting at the table smiling at each other and once they spot me their smiles only grew.

"Morning sweety, sleep good?" my mother says in her gentle loving voice.

"Yes ma'am" I reply pretending to tip an invisible top hat and saying in a mocking elegant British mans voice. My dad just rolls his eyes and smiles.

"So son, you ready for school?" he asks taking a sip of his coffee.

I shrug "I guess so, I mean it is senior year, gotta make the best of it"

I sit down at the table and grab an apple from the fruit bowl in the middle.

"Well that's true, but make sure to make wise choices young man" mom says sternly, but you can see the glint of joking in her bright blue eyes. I get my eyes from my mother, but my looks from my father. I'm a mix of both of them and I love it.

"Alright will do" I look at the clock and mutter curses. "Sorry gotta go don't want to be late on the first day." I take a couple more bites of my apple and run out the door with my keys to my dodge ram. My parents got me it for my 16th birthday two years ago.

I arrive at school and hop outta my car, only to be surrounded by a swarm of people saying hi to me and bombarding me with questions.

'Hey Chad how was your summer?'

Or

'Yo man, haven't seen ya in a while'

Or even

'Hey Chad, you wanna go into the janitors closet?' that last one almost made me puke. Luckily I spotted Josh and ran over to him leaving the swarm behind.

"Geez people will not just leave me the fuck alone!" I huff crossing my arms.

"Yeah, but hey it's apart of being 'Mr. Popular'" Josh said amusement plastered on his face. I just pushed him with my elbow and smiled.

I looked around the courtyard, my eyes finally spotted my target. Cory Wilbur. He is the most cutest, hottest, shyest guy I've ever seen. The way his black hair ruffles in the wind and his sparkly green eyes shine in the sunlight.

I guess she must have felt me starring because he looked around till his eyes landed to meet mine. We stared at each other unable for either of us to look away. Not that I wanted to. I've liked Cory since we were in middle school, but I can never get the courage to talk to him. I know, 'Mr. Outgoing can't even talk to a guy he likes'. Pathetic I know.

I saw him blush and finally look away shyly and walk into the building. I was sad he left, but I'll just see him later today. Hopefully he's in some of my classes this year. My thoughts were interrupted by a hand waving in front of my face.

"Dude"

"What? huh?" I stupidly asked looking at Josh. He gave me a flat look and said "I've been talking for like 5 minutes, have you been starring off into space or something?"

I grinned thinking of Cory "Yeah something like that" he have me a weird look, but resumed talking.

I of course went back to ignoring him and thought about Cory.

Wonderful,

Wonderful Cory.
