Chad's POV
Nothing could describe how happy I was that Cory was my partner, I almost jumped out of my seat with happiness. This year is off to a great start!
I turned to him with a smile,
"Hey I'm Chad" I put out my hand for him to shake. He didn't say anything and rejected my hand. I frowned
"You okay man?" I didn't want to come off uncool. Not a first good impression.
He didnt say anything to my question either just nodded and started scribbling on his notebook. I leaned over his shoulder but he hid is from me. I tried again and he breathed heavily like he was trying to control his anger. I backed up and put my hands behind my head.
"So...you ever gonna talk to me?"
He didn't say anything which was really starting to bug me. I sighed and just say there starring at him. I watched the way his hand scribbled across the paper and how his nose would scrunch up in a cute little way, when he didn't like whatever he put on the paper. He must have felt me starring because he started moving uncomfortably around his seat.
"Um c-can you not stare at m-me, it's making my n-nervous" he stuttered and looked at me from the corner of his eye. I sat there shocked that he actually talked to me.
I cleared my throat "uh sorry, what are you writing or drawing?"
He tensed up and stopped what he was doing. "Uh n-nothing"
"Oh come on, you've been scribbling on that thing for the past 10 minutes" I grabbed the notebook,
"No!" He lunged towards me, but it was too late.
I had seen what he had drew and to say I was shocked, is an understatement.
He blushed and snatched the notebook and ran out of the classroom.
I was too shocked to move.
Who knew little Cory Wilbur had that much of a vocabulary and detailed pictures.

Authors note: oooooo what did Cory draw??? Sorry the chapter is short but I know I needed to set the scene up for next chapter so BE PREPARED!
