Ever since the day of the field trip, something seemed odd about Debbie's behavior.

Lately, she's been really weird around me, like it's not even the weird I'm used to! For example, whenever I cross paths with her at school and try to say hi, she either walks away briskly or plain out avoids me.

And things were no different in Esayria. As all of us went on quests to Lvl. up, Debbie wasn't focused at all. Even her best friend Rachael didn't know what was going on.

It's not just Debbie who's like that. Susan has also been unusually teasing me a lot about Debbs. Good thing I'm already used to that thanks to Johnny doing the same thing before with this other girl. How I hated that...

To add to the whole mystery, I noticed that Susan would show Debbie something on her phone and Debbie's face would get so red!

I've tried to ask Susan what it is, but she never gives me a proper answer.

Most of the time its responses like: 'Don't worry about it', 'Nothing!', or 'Its a girl thing.'

Eventually I gave up after two weeks of looking for an answer and plus three more until Debbie acted a bit more normal, but I still wondered from time to time what that thing might be.

Anyways, today Tuesday seems like it's gonna be a pretty eventful (notice the sarcasm) day in the world of VRMMORPG.

Why? Because according to a notification I got on the Esayria mobile app today, the long awaited Kingdom will finally arise, or some crap like that, as well as an announcement for a special event that will be held soon. Since Johnny and Rachael are Beta Testers, we already knew this was coming, so in advance we all decided to play at his house after school.

Throughout the whole day at school it was all 'Esayria this', 'Esayria that' even though that whole thing was gonna be at 8 in the afternoon!

Sadly not 9 in the afternoon...

Plus, it's not like the whole thing is gonna take forever. Just a couple of announcements and that's it. Finished.

When the bell rang at the end of 6th period, most of the peeps in class pretty much evacuated the room, leaving only a couple of us still inside, including Debbie and myself.

I walked up towards her, but she immediately left the room as soon as she saw me go up to her.

Fine! Be like that!

"All right Debbie, guess I'll meet you, Johnny, and Rachael at the main gate." I monotonely yelled across the now empty room.

The moment I opened the door, I saw that the hallway was swarmed with students. For a second, it reminded me of the roaches we fought not too long ago causing me to have a mini mental breakdown.

"Wow... it sure is crowded." I said as I set foot into the hallway where I was almost swept by the groups of people.

You could say that weaving through a crowd unnoticed is second nature, heck, I was probably born with it already.

Too bad Debbs seemed to lack such essential skill in life. Literally every time Debbie ran into someone, she'd stop and apologize in the sweetest way, making every guy fall for her even more.

Stop that Debbs, I'll end up getting diabetes!

After about 15 minutes of waiting, she finally made it to the main gate where Johnny and Rachael were waiting inside his expensive car.

Thank God everyone was busy making plans to play Esayria later or else there'd be a higher chance of me getting a girlfriend than Debbie and I even reaching his car!
