The Doctor's Son

Chapter 11

Dan's POV:

I can't believe me and Phil just met Fall Out Boy,my inner teen wanted to scream like a fangirl. Not to mention now me and Phil are back stage watching them perform. I stared at Phil,I loved the way his face lit up like a Christmas tree as he watched Fall Out Boy preform. Nothing could ruin this perfect moment.Then a thought brushed through my mind,should I confess? Should I tell him how I really feel?

I couldn't take it anymore,I wanted him to know. Suddenly I felt someone grab my hand,I looked down towards my hand to see Phil's fingers intertwined with mine. I looked up into Phil's deep blue eyes

"This is the best night ever,Dan,"He beamed."And I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else."He said,pulling me into a hug.

All the sudden their was screaming coming from the stage. Not the screaming of a concert,it was screams of terror.

"Um,Dan...daleks...o-on stage,"Phil stuttered with terror in his voice

I spun around to the stage to see Patrick,Pete,Andy,and Joe backed up against the wall. I knew what the dalek wanted and I couldn't let others suffer.

"Hey you fucked up salt shaker you looking for me?!"I shouted from back stage,Phil right by my side

"YOU MUST BE EXTERMINATED!"It shouted

"But,why me exactly? Like how am I a threat to you in anyway!"I shouted,walking on to the stage

"It wants you cause your stronger then you seem,Daniel."The doctor said,appearing out of the crowd

"But-"I said with a puff of gold dust coming out of my mouth.

"What was that?" I asked the doctor,I could feel an ounce of power surge through me

"Regeneration! Ok Phil take Dan back stage I'll handle the dalek here,"he said.

I could see the fear in everyone's eyes as they left the building,of course what was suppose to be the best night of my life was interrupted. "But doctor I feel fin-AHG!"I screeched in pain as I felt a sharp pain in my chest,falling to the floor.

"Dan!"Phil shouted in concern,catching me

"Back stage,with Dan,NOW!"The doctor shouted,pointing to the side of the stage.

I could tell I was falling into unconsciousness due to the pain.

Phil's POV:

I have no idea what's happening but I'm seriously scared. What if Dan dies? What's even happening to him.The doctor said something about this thing called regeneration.

I dragged Dan to the side of the stage,I felt so bad for him,he started shaking and screaming,finally he fell into unconsciousness. I couldn't take it "Dan,you're going to be ok,the doctor is gonna help you,he promised."I whispered as I cried,stroking his hair.

I could hear the doctor battle the dalek,I hope he would destroy it. Dan puffed out more of the gold dust right into my face as he breathed,just to hear him breath was a load off my chest. Knowing that he was still breathing and living was all I wanted,but I wanted to hear him talk and see smile again. I just wanted him to say something and I wanted to see those big brown eyes just look at me...I wanted my best friend.
