The Doctor's POV:

"Oh doctor I know you haven't crossed this point in your timeline yet but killing you was bound to happen sometime."River scoffed as she circled Carrie and I,with a sinister smirk as she pointed a gun at us

"You know you can't kill me with that pathetic gun Dr.Song."I spat as I pointed her pistol in the opposite direction of us

"Yes,I know that doctor but that doesn't go the same for Carrie!"She snarled as she pointed it at Carrie's side

"Doctor!"Carrie yelped in fear

"Now why on earth would you shoot an innocent human being while you want me dead?"

"Oh they don't just want you dead doctor,they want me to kill your pretty little son too."she muttered

"Stop this Dr.Song!"I shouted as I pinned her up to the wall

"Just you wait doctor! The people that you love will die and you'll be next,"She growled with laughter.

I thought she was mad before this but nope she just hit a new kind of insane. In the corner of my eye I saw the tardis door open a crack with someone peered in. "What are you looking at?"She questioned as she looked at the door then back at me

"Nothing,nothing."

"Really?"She said with a scowl and with that she hit me in the head with her gun. Causing me to slip to the floor

"Doctor!"Carrie shouted in fear.

"What is he doing that bastard,He can't just stand there and let Carrie get shot and die!"I heard Dan's voice echo in my head

"Oh,Dan you know I can hear your thoughts,"I transmitted to him

"What do you mean you can read my bloody thoughts?"He thought

"It's what happens when you're a timelord."I responded.

He opened the door a crack and I saw him mouth the words 'What the fuck?'

"Oi watch your language!"I shouted aloud

River spun around and looked at me with a sharpe glare "What was that Doctor?"She said devilishly

"What,nothing,I didn't say anything."I replied innocently.

She cocked her head and gave me a giant smirk as she turned to open the door.

"Oh Dan."She spoke with cheer as her hand grabbed on to the handle

I lunged towards her with anger "Stay away from my son River!"I shout as I yanked away from the door by her by her arm

"In your dreams doctor,"She sneered before she hit me with her guns

"DOCTOR!"Carrie's voice echoed in my head as my eyes began to close

"Dad?"I heard Dan whisper before I fell into unconsciousness.

Dan's POV:

"Dad?Dad?"I whispered with tears in my eyes as I pulled on the locked tardis doors.

"Dan there no use,there's no getting in if the tardis won't let you."Martha explained as she pulled me away from the door

"I'm going to get in there and stop River if it's the last thing I do."I stated as I wiped my face

I knew River was suspicious when I first saw her. That huge hair had to be filled with so many secrets. Her being a mother fucking assassin was probably not her biggest baggage.

I heard a gun shot and a scream from inside;It was Carrie. "Carrie!"Phil and I shouted as we bolted to open the doors

"Come on you stupid blue crate open up!"I shouted as I pounded on the door.

With one last pound the doors opened and there I saw River with the gun in her hand,towering over a Carrie as she dug her heel in the wound in her stomach.

"Dan...Phil!"Carrie began as she gasped for breath

"Ah look who it is the worthless timelord and useless companions!"River remarked as she looked over her shoulder

"River let Carrie go!"I shouted as I came in closer

She lifted her foot from Carrie's stomach,pointed the gun towards Phil and laughed as she circled around us."I'm sorry Daniel but I was born to kill."She smirked as she stroked the trigger with her thumb

With that I pinned her to the ground causing her to drop the gun "River stop it! Stop this bullshit right now!"I growled as I pinned her by the throat.

"If I can't kill you or The doctor I guess I'll kill the ones you love."She spat as she tried reaching for the gun

I slammed her wrist down to the floor with my other hand and growled "Your not killing anyone River!"

"Oh aren't I?"She sneered as she pulled up her other hand revealing a gun"Say bye bye to Phil sweetie!"She shouted as she pulled the trigger

I heard Phil squeal in pain and drop to the floor."PHIL!"I shouted as I looked over at his collapsed body"That's it River you have gone to far!"I snarled as I grabbed her other gun

"It's to late,goodbye sweetie,I'll be back for you later."She said before she vanished before my eyes.

I slammed my fist to the ground and swore under my breath before I moved towards Phil."Phil,"I whispered softly as I buried my face in his hair"I'm so sorry Phil."I whispered as my tears fell into his hair.

I held his hand as I laid there with him;there was still a pulse. "Martha! we have to go quickly."I said as I bolted to the controls

"Ok but be careful flying this thing."

"Please,I'm never careful,"I replied with a smirk"Now Allon-sy!"I shouted as I pulled one last lever.

"Phil just promise me one thing,promise me you'll be okay."Those words rung in his head as he looked lovingly at Phil.
