Chapter 16

Dan's POV:

"Doctor!"Martha shouted,snapping him out of his daze

It made him jump with surprise.

"You know there's one thing that I'm still wondering about,"Carrie whispered to me

"And that is?"

"Doctor,doctor who?"

"You know when me and Phil first met him we thought the same thing but I guess it's just the doctor."I said with a shrug

"Alright so first things,first who's going into to save Phil?"The doctor asked motioning to the door

"Wait we're not all going to save Phil?"Carrie blurted out

"Well,no we can't just all barge in there,do you want to be caught?"

"I guess I'll go then,I mean I got Phil into this mess I have to get him out."I said with a slight whine of pain in my voice as I started for the tardis door

"Wait Dan your still going through regeneration,so your hurting,plus you are who the daleks are after."The doctor said pulling me back

"I don't care change my appearance or something so they don't know it's me,"I scoffed as I pulled away"And I don't care if I'm hurt Phil saved me when he came into my life now it's time to return the favor."

The doctor stood in silence when finally River spoke "Doctor let him do it."She said firmly.

"But River..."he started

"No buts Doctor! Don't you trust your own flesh and blood,I mean you know how it feels to loose someone. Do you really want your son to endure the same kind of pain?"

"Fine,"he sighed"But River you make sure he'll be safe okay?"he said as he lead us to a different part of the tardis

"Okay."She replied.

We came to an empty white room with what looked like a wrist watch in a box.

Phil's POV:

I sat there in pain as I felt over my bruised skin with my cold finger tips,I licked my lips as blood trickled down. It was nerve wrecking having no idea what more could these things do to me,they've already beat me as it is. I sat in silence thinking of ways to get out of this cell when all the sudden daleks started sounding alarms "INTRUDER ALERT...INTRUDER ALERT!!!"The daleks shouted in an alarming tone as they left the room.

What the hell is going on was all I could think. I got up off the cage floor and tried to budge the bars one last time,still no luck. I put my hands in my pockets and was ready to give up. Until I felt something in my pocket;it was the doctors screw driver "Thank The Lord."I muttered under my breath as I pressed the button. Finally it was unlocked and I was free,now to find a way out of here. I started running as fast as I could down this corridor,I tried to decide if I should turn or keep running straight when I hear."THE HUMAN HAS ESCAPED!"From the end of the corridor

"Oh no."I whispered through a gulp as daleks appeared at the end.

I bolted right,hoping I made the right decision. "GET HIM! GET HIM!"they yelled as they started shooting.

I just wanted to be back in the flat again with Dan just talking about the usual discussion of what video we were gonna make next or what movie we're gonna watch at the cinema. I didn't want to be here,being shot at by aliens. I felt a laser graze the side of my torso making a hole in my blazer and making my side bleed,I screamed in terror and pain as they got closer.

"Up here Phil!"I heard an unfamiliar voice say from the end of the hall

At this point I didn't care who it was as long as they sounded human. I hurried to the ladder at the end of the hall when I felt a laser hit the side of my head I whinced at the pain as I tried to make it up the ladder "Come on Phil you could make it!"A girl with light brown eyes and long light brown said as she pulled me up.

Finally I was out of the hall and I plopped on my back,With a flip of her wrist watch the girl was Dan. "PHIL!"He exclaimed with worry as he took my hand. Then and there I began to feel dizzy and started to fall asleep.

Dan's POV:

He had a wound on his head where his temple is and on his side. I took off my tie and wrapped it around his head. "Phil I'm gonna get you out of here I promise."I said as tears started falling from my eyes.

I sat in the air duct and held him,I could hear his steady breath. I checked to see if he had any other wounds,He had a couple bruises,his lip was bleeding a lot,and he had deep cuts on his arms and legs "Phil I'm so so sorry for whatever they've done to you I just want you to be okay."I choked through tears.

I started to make my way through the duct,dragging Phil behind me. After 30 minutes of traveling I finally found the exit. I checked if the coast was clear and then I started sliding out of the vent when I heard daleks. I heard Phil's soft voice as the daleks came closer "What's happening?"He mumbled

"I'll be with you soon,"I whispered as I kissed his forehead"I promise."

"Dan wait!"he exclaimed,jumping up

With that I lost my grip but then I felt Phil grab my arm and hoisted me up.
