So apparently, my mother called my school, and told them about my 'disorder', and how she wanted me to stay home until I was feeling better, along with Yoongi, which was awesome, because we had basically an entire week to ourselves.
"Since we're going to be home for a while, what do you want to do for the time being?" I asked Yoongi who was casually laying in bed next to me.
He thought about the question for a while, then his face lit up as an idea popped in his mind. He got up
"Go get ready, I have an idea" He went inside of the closet to find something to wear.
"What do I wear?" I asked him.
"Wear whatever is comfortable, but still suitable for going outside, bring something you can swim in, along with extra clothes if needed, I'll bring the other items" He sounded excited
"Why?" I wondered
"Just do it" He recreated a meme
"Adorable" I mumbled under my breath
"What was that?" He asked
"Hm? Oh, nothing" I smiled as I grabbed some clothes to go change.
Yoongi and I were ready to leave the house, when we got out of the house, I asked Yoongi where we were going.
"I'm taking you on a date" He smiled
"Oh my gosh, we aren't even dating, besides, what's the point on wasting your time on-" I was cut off by Yoongi covering my mouth.
"Shush, I'm taking you out because I want to, I'm not wasting my time" He scrunched his nose up in a cute way.
"So cute" I mumbled again.
Yoongi caught me staring at him with a pink color spread across my face, he smiled.
"Am I that handsome?" He chuckled.
I then snapped out of it, and found myself close to drooling.
"W-What? No-I mean yes you are but-" I just embarrassed myself.
"You're adorable" I heard Yoongi say
"I am not, you are" I replied
"Nah, you are" He shot back
"No, you are a lot more adorable" I scrunched my nose
"I may be adorable, but you are more than I am" He pinched my cheek.
"We sound like a cheesy couple you see walking down the street or something" We both laughed.
"Anyway, where are we headed to?" I asked.
"We are going to the beach first" He said
"What?" I asked
"Yeah, don't worry, this beach is clean, everything is beautiful" He sounded really excited, but there was more to it.
"Yoongi" I called out his name
He hummed as a response.
"I'm afraid of the ocean" I confessed.
He then looked over at me with no expression
"Crap" I thought to myself, then I felt warmth on my head as I felt it getting pushed closer to his chest.
"It's alright, I'll be there, I won't leave you alone without telling you first" He reassured.
I smiled at how kind he was being towards me.
"Thank you" I smiled brightly.
During the entire car ride to the beach, we just listened to music as I screamed the lyrics to most of the songs, and I also found out that Yoongi could rap.
What a rap god
Yoongi and I can't sing, but we did so anyway for fun, because who was there to judge us? We were comfortable with being ourselves in front of each other, and that's all that matters.
When we finally got to the beach, Yoongi was right. The water and sand were really clean, and the beach itself was beautiful.
"Woah, it's so pretty" My eyes glistened in the sunlight
"I wasn't lying to you, I told you it would be" He smiled
I helped Yoongi with our stuff, and we went to find a spot on the sand, and it just so happens there was a spot, almost as if it was waiting for us. We set our stuff down, then put on some sunscreen to protect ourselves.
Yoongi was the first to get into the water, and he told me that the water was warm, which wasn't surprising because it was really hot, or because he was in the ocean.
I was wearing a T-Shirt along with shorts, and so did Yoongi, neither of us felt like showing that much skin.
"Come on! It isn't bad" Yoongi yelled for me to get in
"What if I get stung by a jellyfish? What if a shark bites my legs off?" I panicked not wanting to go in the water
"I already told you! Sea creatures can't get up here, because the water is barely even at our knees" He tried explaining for the 100th time.
"That doesn't matter, I could still get killed" I tried to defend myself
"Come on, I told you that I would be here wouldn't I? I wouldn't let you get hurt on my watch" He reached his hand out waiting for me to take it.
"You promise?" I asked, still unsure.
"I pinky swear" He then curled all his fingers in, holding out his pinky waiting for me to take it.
"Fine" I took more steps closer to the clear blue water, and it was actually warm.
I got to where Yoongi was, he waited for me to calm down before we could go any further into the ocean. I hesitated a couple of times, but I kept getting reminded at how clear the water was, and how Yoongi was there for me. Since I haven't been to the ocean before, of course I wouldn't know how to swim.
"I'll teach you" He offered
"Really?" I smiled
"Yeah! It might be a fun experience watching you learn" He laughed
He glistened in the sunlight, and I thought he was an angel for a moment.
Since I learn things quick, of course I caught on with Yoongi's personal swimming lessons for me.
After a couple of hours learning, I was actually swimming by myself, I mean yeah, I sank a couple of times while learning, but I'm getting the hang of it.
I was having so much fun in the ocean, but it was time to go, we had to move on the Yoongi's 2nd part of our 'date'.
I was really excited to see what else he had planned.
------
Basically, I'm going to update 'Let me Love you' with the different types of dates Yoongi is going to take Y/N on.
Again, I apologize for short update, I honestly should get more sleep, but I'm guessing no. I legit have no words because I can't think.
-Listening to the 'Love Yourself' album as I was typing this, so that's probably a reason why I couldn't think straight.
-I was the only student in my 6th and 7th period class (double block), to write down my feelings on paper, and I wrote a whole page without realizing, I gave it to my teacher after I was finished, and she legit typed up an entire thing on her computer, printed it out, and gave it to me to read it. It was just telling me about how I should be more positive, she also told me that she wanted me to say 'I am somebody' every time I look in the mirror (hahahahaha, no I'm not doing that).
I'm done ranting now, bai bai~
