Stranger {Min Yoongi x Reader FF}

Lunar

It was another one of those days with Yoongi. Us having sweet moments every so often, I'll say something and he tells me that it's dumb. Spending time with him would make time go by faster, but I just want to slow it down.

"Yoongi" I called out to him.

"Yes?" He replied.

"Time is going by too fast" I said.

"What does that mean?" He questioned.

"Time goes by too fast when I'm with you, I want to make it stop" I said while looking over at him.

"I wish that too" He smiled.

"Really?" 

"Mhm, every second of the day" He kissed my forehead.

"I love you lots" 

"I love you more than you can ever imagine Y/N".

Yoongi cuddled me as I buried my face into his chest. It smelled so nice, it reminds me of when I first met him, when my life was turning the right way, well sort of. Minutes turned into hours, and I was feeling really tired, I decided to take another jog, but Yoongi had his arms around me, so it was going to be difficult.

I moved little by little to try and get out of his grip. When I finally made it, I wined to myself and wanted to go back to warmth. I shook my head and decided to shower again. I put on some sweatpants and Yoongi's sweater. I walked out the room quietly and made my way into the kitchen to grab something for the cat to eat. When I found something, I made my way outside of the house without making a single sound.

I immediately jogged over to the park, a few cars passed by in the streets, and so did people. When I made it, I walked over to the bench where I sat at this morning. When I was there, the cat was sitting there waiting for me to come. I stroked it's head.

"Did you wait long" I asked the cat.

It just meowed.

"Well, it doesn't matter, because I have a surprise for you!" I smiled brightly. The cat got up almost instantly to see what I had.

"I'm sorry if it's not much, but here" I opened a bag of beef jerky.

The cat meowed and purred as it ate the jerky.

"You're welcome" I giggled. I watched peacefully as the cat ate it's food, feeling like amazing breeze blowing through my hair.

"You know.." The cat turned around to look at me.

"I need to give you a name, not to take control over you or anything, just so I don't have to call you 'buddy' or 'kitty', I want to be formal to you, I also want to treasure you" The cat looked at me with confused eyes at the last part.

"My mom always told me, if you make a new friend, whether it's an animal or a human being, always learn their names" I said as the cat made it's way over to my lap.

"I asked her why, and she said it was because learning someones name is a way to show your love for them, a way to say that you'd never forget about them, so basically learning someones name is like keeping them in your heart forever" I smiled down at the cat who was listening to my story and purring.

"If you're going to let me keep you in my heart for as long as I live, give yourself a name" I smiled.

The cat started looking around the area as if it knew what I was talking about, causing me to giggle at it. After a couple of seconds of looking around, the cat looked up at the sky and meowed at something. I got curious as to what it was meowing at, so I looked up to where it's eyes were locked on.

"The moon?" I asked.

The cat meowed again as a response.

"I think calling you moon would be too outrageous, is it alright if I call you Lunar? You know, as in the Lunar eclipse?" I asked it. The cat's eyes brightened at my questioned, it got up at started licking my face.

"I'm taking that as a yes then" I giggled.

"Nice you meet you, my name is Y/N, what about yours?" I asked.

"Meow" It meowed at me as an answer.

"Well nice to meet you Lunar!" I smiled brighter than before.

The cat purred as it got comfortable in my lap once again. I checked the time.

"Geez, it's already 5 AM? To think I left only 3 hours ago" I questioned earth.

"Time goes by really quickly" My face saddened.

"Sorry Lunar, I have to get going now, I'll come back tomorrow" I waved goodbye to her.

She meowed and sat back down at the bench and eventually fell asleep. I smiled at her from a distance, then ran back home.

"I made a new friend" I smiled to myself.

"Her name is Lunar, Lunar the Cat"

Sorry if this was a little short, I didn't know what to do for this chapter because my mind is all over the place. I can promise you, when my mind decides to stop pooping itself, I'll have a chapter that actually makes since. I love you guys a lot, and OML THE BREEZE OUTSIDE FEELS SO NICE, and my mom says it's too cold to wear shorts. Yes, I wore shorts in the cold, but it feels nice. Have a great day/night/rest of the day from me!~
