Halloween Special

Since it's Halloween, I decided to make this. I wanted to make this a hybrid x human chapter. I'm going to try but it probably won't be good, lmao anyways enjoy!

It was 10 PM, the streets were empty aside from a few cars passing by. The moon lit up most of the street because the lamps weren't bright enough. It was cold outside, and I was walking to the store to buy some food. 

"That will be $10.45 please" The cashier said to me with a tired expression, not caring if I was underage.

I gave the money to him, and left with a bag of food. As I was walking home, I heard soft cries coming from an alleyway. I thought I imagined it, and decided to walk away, but before I could, I heard it again.

I was getting curious, and so I walked into the alleyway. When I did, I saw a little boy curled up into a ball, and he barely had any clothing. I couldn't tell what his age was, but looking at his figure, he looked around my age.

"Uhm.. E-Excuse me? Are you alright?" I asked with concern.

I saw something twitch on the boy's head, and when I looked, he had cat ears, guess he's a hybrid, I found it cute because it was my first time seeing a hybrid in person.

After a moment, the boy lifted his head up and his eyes glistened in the moonlight. I wanted to get closer to him for a better look, but when I took a step forward, he flinched.

I guess he doesn't trust me enough yet.

I thought as I rubbed the back of my neck and thought of something. Then an idea popped in my head. I looked down at the bag full of junk food, I bent down and reached into the bag, rummaging around until I found what I was looking for.

"Are you hungry? Here, have some" I gave out my hand with a warm smile.

"What did you do to it?" The boy called out.

"What? I did nothing to it!" I rejected.

"Why are you being nice and trying to feed me then?" The little boy called back.

"Can't I be nice to you? What's the big deal?" I pouted a bit.

He let a soft little 'hmph'. I just put the food somewhat near him so he didn't have to come close to me. He sat there looking at the food for a while, then decided to get a closer look at it. He started to sniff it, then he licked it.

"Is it good?" I asked softly.

He let out a small little hum as a response.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Why?" He questioned me with his mouth full of bread.

"Because it's not polite to call you 'cat boy' or something" I kept a straight face.

"Tell me your name then I'll tell you mine" He said sternly.

I know if I say anything else, then he's just going to continue being stubborn.

"My name is Y/N, now tell me yours" I kept on a poker face.

He picked up the piece of bread I offered, he put it into his mouth as he crawled closer to me, he was only a foot away from me.
