Marry Me

With tear stained cheeks, and red puffy eyes I walked home. I walked up the door, opened it to be greeted by a pouncing cat.

"Hello Lunar.." I smiled weakly down at the fragile, yet strong animal. "You know where Yoongi is?" Lunar meowed as if she understood.

Lunar jumped out of my arms to show me to the kitchen. There, stood a tall man with pitch black hair. Strong looking back, in the kitchen cooking. Seeing this, I felt tears well up inside of my eyes.

"Y-Yoongi.." I gasped.

He turned around, smile wide, his arms open. "Come here.." he said with a gentle voice. I let out a choked sob while running into his arms. He rubbed circles on my back, hushing me as I sobbed into his chest.

As I was crying, he picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room. He laid me down in bed and laid next to me. He allowed me to cry, while he stayed silent.

When I calmed down, I finally had the nerve to say it.

"Yoongi..."

"Yes, Princess?"

"Remember when you asked me about running away together?.." I sniffed.

"Yes I do." I breathed in his scent.

"Lets do it. Lets run away from all these problems. Explore the world with Lunar. Be adventurous." he smiled.

"Is that what you want?" I thought about it for a second.

"..Yes, yes it is." I looked up at him.

"Ah, I've been waiting for this day since forever." he stretched out. I was confused, but didn't have time to question.

"You feeling better?" he asked with a slight head tilt. I nodded. "Great!" he smiled. "Lets go out to eat! Lets say... something fancy?" I nodded my head.

"Doesn't have to be fancy.. just a place that looks fancy." he cracked his knuckles. "Go change into something fancy, wash your face or something.. you look gross." he winked at me.

He left the room for my privacy, and left me to get ready. I sighed and went ahead to do what I needed to. 

Sooner or later, I came out wearing what seemed to be a prom dress. "You look ugly." he smirked. "Thanks, you look worse though." I smiled.

Yoongi was wearing a suit, it looked uncomfortable but he look just fine. "Lets go?" he extended his arm for me to take. I took it with no hesitation, then we headed off.

We were at the restaurant, ordered, and talked. When the food arrived, we ate it in peace. The seats we got were honestly so nice, the view outside their window is amazing.

"Dessert?" the waiter asked.

"Do you serve macaroons here?" I asked, the waiter nodded. "Didn't know you liked macaroons." Yoongi smiled at me as the waiter left. "I don't, I've just been craving them for a while." Yoongi chuckled at me.

Not long after, my macaroons arrived. I began to stuff my face with them. I could hear Yoongi saying 'slow down' in the back.

My mouth was full of broken macaroons, and crumbs were all over my mouth. "Didn't know your craving was that strong." he rested his chin in his palm.

I looked up at him and smiled, having less macaroons because I ate them. He cooed at me, then wiped away some crumbs on my face.

"Y/N, we've been together for so long. Through the ups and downs, and even now. You're so ugly right now but I'm asking you to marry me." I choked on the macaroons as he got down on one knee.

He pulled out a small, plastic, green ball. On the outside, it seemed cheap, but when he opened the ball there was something shiny inside.

It was a... 

..light up ring pop?

I was baffled by what I saw, but it was cute. "Yoongi, we're only in high school." I smiled. "Yes, we are.. but if we're going to run away together, I want to stay together. Us forever until the end. Even if something were to separate us, we're still together by heart. Now I'm going to ask you again.. Y/N, will you marry me?" his eyes glistened.

I was cleaning up the crumbs from around my mouth from when I choked, then looked at him. "That would be an honor." we could hear clapping and cheering in the back. 

I stood up to hug him, and he hugged me back. "I love you, always." I said as he slipped a different ring onto my finger. It was diamond instead of candy.

"Oh? What happened to the ring pop?" I asked with a sweet smile. "I was planning on eating it, unless you want it." he made a face to where it made him look like a turtle.

"You're cute." I smiled. He smiled back, but bigger, "You're right.".

"Congratulations on your engagement!" a waiter came up to us with a cake. "Oh, I don't think we ordered this. Also, thank you!" I bowed my head and smiled.

"Ah, of course you didn't. This is a little gift for your engagement! On the house." the waiter smiled. "O-Oh, why thank you so much then." my smile grew. 

We finished our sweet time in the restaurant. It was memorable, amazing, breath-taking, it just absolutely made my day.

"I love you with all my heart." I said to Yoongi. "I love this little ugly duck too." he teased. I smacked his arm as he smiled his gummy smile.

I plan on leaving out the wedding and have you imagine your own wedding. I want to make this book seem like you wrote it for yourself, not me. Sorry if I seem like a bad, horrible, disgusting author.
