Goodbye Mom

I smacked Yoongi's arm. "Continue being cocky and I'll seriously stop loving you." I said jokingly. Yoongi pretended to be hurt by my words, he wiped away a fake tear from his eye. "You're so mean to me.." he pretended to sniff. "You're such a child." I giggled. "You still love me despite it." he smiled at me. I blushed at him then looked away.

He winked at me, and I smacked his arm. "I hate you so much."

"I love you too Y/N~" he cooed.

We continued to walk to who knows where. We just walked the path our feet carried us on. It was getting dark, but the sunset was too beautiful to turn away from. The bugs where getting to us, and Lunar was getting tired.

We didn't know where we were, but for some odd reason we did at the same time. Our legs took us somewhere familiar, then it hit me.

"T-This is the place.."

"Yup, this is where this relationship blossomed,"

"Where you confessed." we locked eyes with each other.

We held each others heads, while leaning our foreheads against each other. During this moment, we could feel the others breath hit our lips. I took this time to breath out a small 'I love you', and he did the same.

"Lets get home before Lunar claws my face off." Yoongi said laughing.

"Whatever you say Suga." I giggled. "Hush, you." we held hands as we walked. As we approached my home, we saw flashing blue and red lights.

I felt anxiety well up in me as I realized who they were. "Y-Yoon--"

"--Yes I know, whatever it is just be brave. I'm here for you." he smiled at me. I was so scared, but I took a deep breath and continued walking.

Two officers saw us approaching them, so they waited until we got closer to stop us. "Do you two live in this household?" they pointed to a specific home in front of their car.

I knew it, something is wrong.

Why am I even panicking? I don't even know the problem..

Or do I?

I stayed silent for a long time, so Yoongi had to take things into his own hands.

"Yes we do, why do you need to know? Is something wrong?" he asked with a calm voice.

My heart started beating fast. 

"Before I further reach this topic.. are you alright ma'am?" the officer looked over at me with raised brows.

There was a lump in my throat, I couldn't speak even if I wanted to. 

badum badum, my heart is beating so loudly..

I felt a light bump on my forearm. My body then snapped out of that previous state.

"A-Ah, uhm. Yes, I'm alright." I flashed a convincing smile.

"Alright then, are you sure?" the officer seemed to be unsure even after I nodded my head. I sent him a weak smile, but enough to convince him that I was alright.

"Alright then, ahem.." the officer cleared his throat before speaking. "Are you Y/N?" he asked us, I nodded my head.

"About 4 hours ago, your mother has collapsed during her shift. It seems as if your mother..."

My eyes widened at this news. 

Why didn't she tell me about it?

So many questions ran through my mind regarding 'why'.
