It's been a while...

I have not added a new part to this story since March 11, and have not made any updates to any of my drafts since December 18, 2016.

That is a seriously long time!

I apologize for not giving any of my time to this story, as much as I wanted to.

Since starting this story, I improved on my writing skills and when I read this story again, I just saw a big load of blah.

But! I'm keeping this story up for now to see if I want to do anything else with it. In the near future I will be privatizing this story, as I most likely will be discontinuing it. 

I really wish I didn't have to discontinue, but I couldn't go forward with this story. I had tons of ideas, but no way to convey them, so I just gave up. There was so much that had not been explored in Evie, because I was constrained to one season, and had to take my time writing it out with each episode that continued along. I never got to explore Earth-2 or Earth-38 (Cat-Co Evie?), or future Evie when Barry went to a timeline where Iris died.

After this part it'll be discontinuation from then on. I do have one more story part that I never got to finish, so maybe I will publish that. I wish I got to explore many story lines in this story.

But...

It doesn't mean that I'm done writing about the Flash. 

I've made another fic that's sort of like a new and improved version of this story. It can be almost defined as a copy, but there are many differences about it, such as:

1. Change in oc faceclaim, name, and well, a lot about this new person. She's of a different ethnicity, her name is different, and her attributes and goals are very different from Evie. While she will be a reporter in the beginning the story will develop over time. She's also very unlucky, in many aspects. 

2. No more Layla Coulter. Her name might be dropped a couple times, but no more than just as an extra I need to add in a certain part of my story. Layla was stupid and a pushover and not many people who read No Hero actually liked her. But she isn't exactly being replaced... which brings us to number 3. 

3. Coop was a one-chapter-wonder, so I wanted to bring his amazing ass back in to have a more prominent role in this new story. He and a new female character are serving as good friends and roommates to this main OC I have in mind. Coop may seem like a sort of stereotypical, 2-D friend, but there is a lot more to offer in him than his stereotypes and the way he likes his martini cocktails (stirred gently, not shaken vigorously) 

4. The new female roommate is a college student who's unpredictable, but not in a super wild way. She follows this main OC (since I'm still making her a reporter in the S2 timeline) as an intern, and looks up to her, even if sometimes she has to keep the main oc in check. Her Earth-2 counterpart will come into play, as will Coop's. Are they metahumans are regular, accidental dimension-hoppers? 

5. A rivaling love interest is coming into play! (I'll give a little hint: the faceclaim is Ji Chang-wook) His occupation is a lawyer, but he's planning on later becoming a prosecutor. So far, he's had luck in winning nearly every case in the last two years. Coincidence? Or was it by aid of the particle accelerator? He has a very prominent role in this new book, and he'll be there to stay for some time, whether it be by memory, his doppelgangers, an alternate timeline, perhaps? Only time will tell for him. 

6. The story will begin with Season 2. 

More surprises are to come in this updated story. I'm not sure exactly what to call it as since it's almost like a completely different story, but so many elements from No Hero are incorporated into the new book that I can't single it out. So I'm going to treat it like a new book!

ALSO!!! [Season 4 episode 3]There is a new canon character on The Flash that has the ability of a good luck field surrounding herself only. Luck plays a big role in my story, so this canon character will actually have an impact if I so wish to choose to continue this new story I have in mind into season 4.
