Another Day at Starlight

Y/N's POV
"I NEED A GROUP OF 3! A GROUP OF 3 PEOPLE!" I shout, "ANY GROUPS OF 3?"

"OVER HERE!" a man called. Him, his wife, and their daughter who looked about 10 walked forward. I put them in their seats and gave Jenny, a girl with long blonde hair, a thumbs up.

"Alright people! Put any loose items in the safety bag, put the safety bar down, there will be an employee coming around to check that," she said into the microphone.

That was my cue. I went around to make sure people's lap bars where on correct. There was one boy with disabilities who needed help but otherwise it was all good.

I gave the thumbs up and Jenny continued, "hang on, have fun, and enjoy the ride!" She shouted into the mic and pressed the button sending the guests off into the roller costar.

The next car pulled up and it's passengers got out. Michelle, a brunette who was on the other side helping passengers leave, gave me the thumbs up.

I turned back to the line and asked a tall white haired man, "how many?"

"3," he responded.

He looked and sounded like a man from my child hood. I ignored it and led the man, a younger man, probably his son, and a blue haired woman about my height to the car and got them into the seat.

I went back to the line and asked a middle aged mifwa woman, "how many?"

"4!" She responded in a high pitched voice. I lead her, her husband and their two children to the cart. 7 seats left.

After we seated everybody Jenny, started her speech again, "Alright people! Put any loose items in the safety bag, put the safety bar down, there will be an employee coming around to check that!"

I did my job to make sure everyone was good. Once I checked everyone I gave Jenny a thumbs up.

"Hang on, have fun, and enjoy the ride!" Jenny said into the microphone before hitting the button that sent them on their way.

Then Joseph ran up to me, "your turn to break!" He said happily.

I nodded and turned to the employee's door. I walked down the hall and out into the sunlight. Man I loved working here! I then made my way to the employee's boats. I walked into mine and Jenny's shared room and lay down in the bed.

I couldn't get what I saw out of my head! That man looked a lot like my parents old business partner. He sounded like him too!

I shook my head. No, he went missing with my parents. I thought about it a little longer. I then decided it wasn't him, just someone who resembled him.

I looked at the clock, time to get back to work.
