"Are you going to listen to me? Or am I going to have to use more - drastic ways to get you to listen to me," Ivy threatened. Henry gulped, but Ray stared at her in the eyes.

"I won't listen to you!" he said proudly, not noticing her smirk.

"Good. I was hoping you'd say that."

She pressed a different button on her control and Henry and Ray waited for the shocks that they knew were going to come.

But it didn't.

Instead, there were sharp, small pains that happened every so often around their bodies. At first, it was like an uncontrollable itch that refused to go away, but pretty soon it got painful. Henry started squeaking sometimes, when it was the annoying itch, that is. When it was the pain he started shouting, pleading with Ivy to stop.

"And why should I?" she asked, smirking.

"After all, you refused to be obedient to me. That deserves a punishment, don't you think?" she added innocently.

Henry shook his head wildly. "No, no! It doesn't, please stop! I'm begging you, please!" he pleaded. Ivy thought for a moment, then shook her head.

"No. Because no matter what you think, I know that you've been very naughty boys and naughty boys definitely deserve a punishment."

"Hey, do your parents know that you've got us captured?" Ray asked suddenly.

Ivy shifted uncomfortably. "Not exactly," she admitted. "But they're never down here and hardly home anyway. I spend most of my time with my uncle," she appeared to be trying to give the two heroes a hint.

"Okay..." Ray said thoughtfully. Ivy stopped pressing the button.

"You two going to listen to me now that you know what's in store if you don't?"

Henry nodded quickly. "Yep!"

"Great! Glad that we're all on the same track here. So, I'll try this. Where's the Man Cave?" Ivy asked, inwardly grinning evilly as she saw Ray and Henry glance toward each other nervously.

"At - at my school," Henry sounded uncertain.

"At my house!" Ray shouted at exactly the same time as Henry. Ivy narrowed her eyes.

"One of you is lying. Or both of you. In that case, it's another round," she held her finger over the (slightly red coloured) button, raising her eyebrows, deliberately slowing down her motions so that Henry and Ray got her meaning.

"Don't!" Henry yelled anxiously. "It's... it's... in a store. Alright? It's in a store!" he shouted out, clearly ashamed with himself.

"Kid..." Ray looked at him. Henry couldn't bear to meet his eyes, he was too ashamed.

"Sorry, Captain Man," he whispered, holding his head downwards so he couldn't see the man's face. It also meant that he couldn't see Ivy's triumphant grin. He heard her voice though. Nothing could remove that sickly sweet voice from his head. It would forever haunt him.

"Well, as you two are so ashamed of yourselves, I suppose that that must be the right answer..." she said gleefully, but also rather suspiciously (in Ray's opinion. Henry was too occupied with scolding himself for letting out their secret). "I never told you the prize for answering correctly, did I? Well, perhaps I should now... The prize for answering correctly is... More torture." A manic grin appeared on Ivy's face. Ray shivered.

"Please... no," Henry begged. "I can't, please, I can't..."

Ivy hesitated, then said cheerfully. "Well, I always did like it when superheroes pleaded... So continue all you want, Kid Danger. I'm never going to give in. I never do. I don't even squeal when I see an adorable puppy," Ivy said, somehow managing to use that 'teenager' voice as well as an evil voice at the same time. Only she could.

"Time for your prize!" Ivy announced. She pressed the red button (relatively harder than she had before... perhaps she was angrier than she was before?...) and smirked when she saw Henry screaming without stopping for breath.

"This is quite a fun show, huh? Too bad I don't have any popcorn... Oh wait, I do! I'll go make it, shall I? And once I come back, the torture will start again," the girl promised. Henry gave a sigh of relief, glad that he had some rest from the torture for a while.

"That was rough."

Henry agreed wholeheartedly with Ray. "Yeah, it was," he voiced his opinion. "Hopefully Charlotte'll be here soon... I don't think I can survive much longer." His voice cracked toward the end.

Ray shook his head hurriedly. "Shut up, kid. You will survive and everyone knows that Captain Man is always right, huh?" His voice took on a more worried note. "Come on, kid. You're not allowed to die yet. You haven't even finished school yet, or gone onto collage, or any of that academic stuff. And Kid Danger! No one would be able to survive without you being an awesome Kid Danger, and you know it."

"That's just it, Captain Man. Anyone could replace me. Perhaps you could with someone who actually knows how to fight," Henry struck a weak grin. "I'll probably be fine, Ray, but this... this is just in case, alright?

"In case I don't make it out alive."

Just then, the door burst open.

Ivy had come back in. "So, what's next?" she said, grinning.

A figure ran into the room. "Leave them alone!" it demanded.

That gave me chills! But it was so much fun to write! See ya!
