I wake up the next day, feeling a tad warmer than I should be. I try and turn over but I'm trapped where I am, finally noticing that Teldryn is the reason behind this with his arm securely around my torso and pressed against me. Blushing a dark red, I try to move away but he makes a grunting noise and pulls me back to his chest. I try shaking him awake but it's no use so I lay there, pretending to be asleep until he wakes up.
When he wakes up he moves away slowly and sighs. What I didn't expect though was him to kiss me on the back of my neck. He moved closer to my jaw, trailing kisses as he gets closer but stops at the corner of my mouth. At this point I'm tensing up but I keep my breath calm so he doesn't know I'm awake. Eventually he stands up and goes outside the tent and closes the flaps of the tent so light won't come in. I stay there fore awhile and try to calm myself down before I go outside with him.
Once i calm down, I walk outside to see him swimming in the lake. I sit on a log and watch him. I notice I'm starting to blush however from watching him. His eyes finally meet mine and I wave shyly. He smiles but keeps swimming. I guess I should start cooking I thought to myself as I got up and lit the fire with my magic. I got out the pot and the things I needed to make vegetable soup for two. Once I finished up, I got out bowels and filled them with soup.
Teldryn soon came out of the water and I smiled at him as he took his soup and sat in front of me on the log. (I'm on the ground) "sleep well last night?" I asked as I slurped on my soup. "I tossed and turned but eventually went to sleep" he replied quietly but looked up at me. "I'm glad I didn't here ya...but I do have to admit" I paused "you do keep me warm" I teased and he grunted in reply but I just laughed. I finished my soup and sat the bowel down before walking to the edge of the water. I started striping down to my undergarments and I could feel his eyes on the back of my head. Even though he's a dark elf, I still get self conscious about the dark elf blood that runs in me. I'm just so used to people, even dark elves, judge me from being a "mixed breed".
I quickly got in the water and swam to the big rock pointing out slightly and climbed onto it. I lie half in and half out of the water and watched the sky from where I sat. I closed my eyes and relaxed. All the sudden everything around me changed. Something felt warm, like it was welcoming me into its grip. All I could hear was the breeze that sounded like I was on the hill back home. The water was moving oddly around me like it was going in circles, I felt stronger....my magica was growing it felt. Then I heard him, Teldryn, he was saying my name and my eyes shot open. I had somehow summoned my circle of protection. It's blue light was so bright, brighter than it should've been. I wasn't scared though, I felt the warmth get stronger and my magica was growing the longer it was around me. I hadn't noticed Teldryn was right outside of the circle until I heard my name again. All I could do was look up at the sky. I felt the warmth leave and I looked down to see him holding onto my waist. His arms were rapped around me and he was looking right at me. I moved over and he climbed onto the rock with me and sat beside me, not letting go. "What were you doing?...." He asked quietly  but didn't move, I could hear the worry in his voice. "I didn't summon it, I already told you that I thought I couldn't do those spells yet." I moved my head to rest on his shoulder " I felt my magica get stronger though. I could feel it pulling me in and it didn't want to stop." He tightened his grip on me but let go. "Let's go get dried off and relax..." He suggested and I just nodded. We swam back to the bank and dried off, I put my clothes back on and he put dry ones on. "So...you not likin the way your helmet fits all the sudden?" I laugh to myself and hear he scoff "I never wear it in the water and you know that smart ass" I smiled and sat by the fire. It was already noon and something happened, great.
