Joy were happily sipping her warm soy milk while heading her way towards the boutique when suddenly her name being called by Changsub which makes her stop her tracks. " Joyiah, annyeong. " Changsub's comical face had somehow made her giggles, " Annyeong oppa. You look happy today. "
She noticed that Sungjae were there too, keeping himself silent while looking at her but the look that he gave somehow makes her nervous, and surprisingly she wasn't annoyed with his presence this time. " Well, I'm always happy but this guy over here has finally found his happiness back. " His words has only makes Sungjae to nudge the sides of his ribs, causing the lad to yelled a little. " Yah hyung. " She saw how Sungjae glared at Changsub but the lad just hardly care and continue to tease him. " He finally recovers from the heartbreak. " " Owh, really ? "
It's been a couple of months since Yeri left him. Well, they wasn't in a relationship to begin with. They were just in the process of getting to know each other when suddenly Yeri's ex-boyfriend, Jungkook, shows up making things became complicated in between them. Joy knew that Yeri likes Sungjae but she love Jungkook and she pretty sure Sungjae sees that too. Yeri was in thorn while choosing either these two boys but end up made it clear to Sungjae that Jungkook is the one that she love. Surprisingly, Sungjae able to take it, probably because Yeri had always tells stories about Jungkook to him, and he just knew that somehow he can't win against this guy.
" I'm not broken hearted. " She heard him arguing with Changsub telling that Changsub just making stories about him and she just laugh it off. " Whatever. But the point is, you have your eyes on someone now. " " Shut up. "
Joy just shook her head, looking at these guys who hasn't stop arguing with each other. " You guys can go ahead bickering. I'll head in now. " She was about to bid a bye when once again, Changsub stops her. " Just a quick question Joy. " " Okay, what is it ? " " You don't have a boyfriend right ? " Joy was taken aback with his question but answered him anyway, " I .. don't have one. "
She felt even more weird when she saw how Sungjae face palmed himself. But what surprised her more is when she heard what's coming from Changsub's mouth next, " I told you she's single. " while wrapping his arms on Sungjae's shoulder, making Sungjae to push him away, " Yahhh ! Just shut up. "
He then turn to look at Joy who somehow felt flustered with their conversation, " Err, it's nothing. You can go ahead Joy. " " O-Okay. " She quickly walked away but that doesn't mean that she can't hear what Changsub said afterwards, " Yook Sungjae said you're pretty Joyiah. " which really makes her feel uneasy and giddy out of reason.
Once she's in the boutique, she keep her bag inside the locker before walking out to the counter. " What chu doing ? " She asked Irene, who seems so busy with the receipts. " I did a mistake in the billing and I just have to do a refund to this customer. "
Truth is, Joy are trying to forget her fluttered heart from what just happened earlier by listening to whatever Irene's blabbering right now, hoping that eventually the feelings will go away. It actually works since she sets her focus in helping Irene solving her problem.

It was almost evening when she got a call from Wendy, asking her to go to her place. She wasn't in the mood to walk by the way but when Wendy mentioned about the free drinks, she hurriedly went there, leaving Irene in the store pouting all by herself.
" Son Seungwan-sshi. " She playfully called Wendy as she walked in. " You favourite dongsaeng is here for the free drinks. " Wendy who were at the moment busy making the drinks chuckles at Joy silliness. " Yah, stop telling everyone that I'm giving you free drinks. "
" Daebak ! You sure giving us a lot. " Realising it was more than two drinks had only makes her to smile happily. " I didn't know you love us this much. Komamo unnie. " " Yah, am I crazy ? Why would I gave drinks for four person to two person ? " " Eh ? Four ? But there's only Irene unnie and me today. Seulgi unnie were on leave while Victoria unnie is at the HQ right now. "
Wendy didn't answer Joy right away, and she just focusing on making the last drink. She then place two of the bubble tea on one of the twin cup holder, while another two on the other holder.
" These two are for you and Irene unnie. " She points on the right hand sides before the left one, " While these two, are for Changsub oppa and Sungjae. Can you help me deliver this to them ? "
Hearing his name has only makes her flustered once again causing her to shriek unknowingly, " No ! " which happen to make Wendy to get shocked. " Yah, why did you yelled at me ? " " Ani, I'm sorry unnie. But can you deliver this yourself. I'll cover up your shop till you come back. " " What if customer want to buy something? Do you know how to make it ? " She shook her head, thinking of another idea. " I know, I'll just call Irene unnie. Beside, it was her husband working there not mine. " " Yah, why is it so hard for you to do it instead ? Is it because of Sungjae ? I thought you guys were okay ? " " Well, I think we did but ... "
For those two months also both Sungjae and Joy took their friends words seriously by working out with their relationship, if we can call it that way. They managed to talk to each other, nicely, even though it wasn't much.
It was all start when Joy was in need of help in covering up her store since she were alone on that moment due to some meeting which involves Seulgi and Victoria while Irene, she wasn't in a good condition and have to take a medical leave for a day, leaving Joy for almost 5 hours alone.
She was struggling with lots of customer coming in so she thought a little help will do and she was glad when she saw him walking by her store. She was hesitant at first but she don't want to take a risk if some of the things are stolen since she can't handle these much of people.
" Sungjae. " He was surprised at first when she called him but he went towards her right away when he noticed her worried face. " You called ? " " If you don't mind, can you help me with the customers ? I'm alone for the moment. " " Yeah sure. " " Just ask me if you need help ok. " " Alright. " " Thanks. "
They managed to serve each of the customer without any issue and she felt really thankful when Sungjae agreed to help her. " Thank you so much Sungjae. I'm so glad I saw you there. " " No big. So what happen ? Why are you alone ? " So Joy did her best to explain her situation to Sungjae but all she gets from him was a laugh. " Why are you laughing? " " It's not about your story but it was us. " " What about us ? " " I'm kinda surprised that we able to talk to each other nicely, I mean you know how we always with each other right ? "
That caught her, and she only smile at him shyly. " Sorry about that. " " Don't be. I'm the older one here. I should be more mature. "
" Well, you seems like an annoying person to me. " Joy were mumbling all by herself but was caught by Sungjae, " I am what ? " " Huh ? I .. didn't say anything. "
* Pabo Joy. You almost let yourself being kill. *
" I thought you called me a snob ? I didn't know I'm annoying as well. " There's a smirk on his face that only makes her to be in flustered.
* I'm dead. *
" Err .. I didn't mean to ... " " Don't worry. I called you snob as well. So we are even now. " That happen to make both of them to laugh, making all the tension between them all these while to fade away.
