" To Save Another, You Must Kill The Other "

"Sam?" I whispered out into the dark room. Me and Sam decided that Dean needed a rest so we went out to hunt a witch alone. As you could guess, it didn't end well. We now are bait for Dean. The room was dark, not one little light was let into the room.

"Right over here, Y/N." it came from the left, I didn't know where here was but at least he was okay.

"Sam, I can't move." I whispered more. A felt something thick and scratchy holding my wrist and ankles together, most likely rope, and I felt like I was bind to a chair.

"I can't either. This wasn't really the best idea." I roll my eyes and start trying to undo the binds, but the harder I try the tighter they get, I grunt in pain before giving up.

"We were thinking about Dean. It's the thought that counts, yeah?"

"Until that thought goes completely wrong and Dean has to come save us."

"Do you think that he notices we're gone?" I ask, worry leaking into my words.

"Of course he has! Don't get scared yet Y/N." I nod and start to say something until a door opens with a creak. The light shines on Sam first who scrunched up his face and moves his head to keep the light out of his eyes. Next it shines on me, I close my eyes and listen to the heavy breathing.

"Oh my God. Sammy, Y/N, are you alright?" Dean! It was Dean, thank God! I open my eyes and let myself adjust to the light. Of course, Dean had run over to Sam first and tried to undo the binds.

     "I'm fine, Sam?"

"Pretty good. My head hurts." Dean glared at his brother not even acknowledging I said anything. I sighed and leaned my head back. "Ow, Dean, Ow!" Sam yelped.

"What?" Dean asked and stopped moving.

"The ropes get tighter every time you pull on them." I gasped seeing the big, red, bold words written behind me. Dean turned to me but his eyes trailed to the words. He stood up and looked down at his gun before back at us.

"What? What is It!" Sam panicked. Dean took a deep breath before speaking.

"To save another you have to kill the other." His eyes started to water and he shook his head and wiped his eyes to get them to go away. "I can't do that, I can't kill my own family!" He yelled.

"Then kill me." I whispered making both the boys snap their heads towards me.

"What." Sam whispered before he started to struggle with the binds. "No! No one is killing anyone! We both get out of this alive!" He yelled. Dean shook his head and bent down In front of me.

"Did they hit your head or something?" He whispered, his tears were starting to shine through but he had yet to cry. I shook my head.

"No, yes? I can't remember, but it doesn't matter. To save one you have to kill the other. Dean, I'm the other. Kill me, get Sam outta here."

     "No! Dean!"

"I'm not! I'm not.." He shook his head and finally he let he ears go, "I can't. I won't."

"But you guys have to. Family stick together right? You and Sam, Dean. That's how it's always been."

"And you! Y/N, and you!" His tears were flowing now and he pulled out a knife and tried to start cutting the binds but they repaired themselves. I knew what had to happen. I knew who he was going to chose. Sam. It's always Sam.

He tried everything to get the binds off. Cutting them, pulling on them, trying to untie them, nothing worked. It slowly dawned at him that he was going to have to kill his brother, or his best friend. He had to choose. He had to. There was no other way.

"Y/N?" He whispered, making me look up at his tear stained face, his gun out of his holster. Clearly shaking in his hand. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." He whispered more, moving the gun up to my head.

"Dean, Dean No!" Sam begged, his voice watery. I looked down at my feet. I didn't want to make this any harder for Dean or Sam. I wanted it to be over. Quick and easy.

     "Look away Sammy."

     "Dean-"

     "Look away!"

I didn't dare look up. I felt the barrel of the pistol pressed against my head and I didn't want to ruin Dean's steady mind. I heard whimpers around the room, but none coming from me. I held them back, I had to.

"Y/N. Y/N, don't look up. Please don't. I just want you to know, that you are family. You are family, and I trust you. I trust you with every little being of my body. I love you. Sam loves you. Cas loves you. And I'm sorry for what I'm about to do next." Before he can fire I speak up.

"I love all of you too." A sob breaks through the room and the gun shakes even more in Dean's hand. He squeezes the trigger and a loud bang goes through out the room.

     "No!"

His eyes closed tightly together. He looks over to Sam to see the binds moving from around him. He looks back over to the young girl, her binds also come undone, but no life in her to keep herself from falling to the floor. Sam quickly moved over to the girl and picked her up into his lap. His tears falling onto her peaceful, sorrowful face.

"Why did you do that Dean!"

"Don't blame this on me! You shouldn't have come here in the first place!"

"So it's my fault now!" Sam stood up, towering over his brother. Dean stared him dead in the eye.

"Yes." Sam pulled his hand back into a fist before bringing it down on Dean. He landed next to the girls body and Sam kept pounding on him. Dean took the beating and stared at the girl, wincing in pain every time Sam hit him. He didn't fight back. He thought he deserved this.

     This is all his fault.
