"Sure, what is it?"
I asked, I was pleasantly surprised that she wanted to talk to me yet- I felt something rumble in my stomach, I had a gut feeling something bad is going to be poured out of her mouth. She sat down next to me; she had a serious expression. This moment felt as if it was a parent about to confront their child about bad grades. I shook my head erasing my mind of bad memories during Highschool.
"One of the boys like you."
Aspen had said quickly, not giving me any time to think. Wait- What?!
"Who? Why? How?"
I had so many questions to ask her, and it only been a matter of seconds.
"I'll just say one thing..."
She paused, trying to think of how to word it in such a way.
"...I know you like some, that person likes you back."
She put her hand on my shoulder.
"All I'm saying is, go with your gut. Tell him tonight."
I looked outside, many hours will need to pass till it will be tonight. I had time to think.
"Wait, who is 'him'?"
"I'm not going to say it again..."
She put her hand off my shoulder.
"...your gut feeling."
Always, as if on cue, the door opens to see a cheerful Corbyn, a joyful Jack, a jumpy Jonah, a upbeat Zach, and after Zach a excited Daniel. Only Jonah and Jack walked in carrying groceries, containing my ingredients for yummy crepes. Aspen patted my back, I'm assuming to reassure me, then got up and left. How could she leave telling me that with little to no information?
"I am so ready for crepes!"
I smiled at Zach's weirdness, and got up to make crepes.
"Wow, even waffle boy himself is happy about crepes."
I giggled at my weird name for him.
"Yes waffle boy does also like some other things in the waffle family!"
Everyone started to cry laughing, Zach was waffle boy and we all knew it. We all enjoyed the day laughing, dancing to random songs, and of course; Zach's favorite, eating waffles and crepes. The sun had gone to bed, but surely the moon was just waking up above the horizon. It was beginning to get dark. My stomach swirled and tightened at the thought of showing love to my own kidnapper, but now, it almost felt as I was dating one boy who just had different personalities. I was so ready to take on this challenge, given to me by Aspen. I was ready to show my love to my one and only! I coughed, trying to get the attention of the boys. They all looked my direction, I quickly said something before they looked away.
"Can I talk to you guys, it's something important."
"Of course you can."
Daniel responded to me.
"What's on your mind?"
Corbyn asked me, a semi-confused expression on his face.
"Well um..."
I stuttered, not know what to say.
"I'm in love with you!"
I pointed to him, he pointed to himself.
"Me?"
"HIM!"
The rest yelled back. I whispered into his ear, only he can hear.
"My name... my name is y/n."
He jumped back.
"I- its beautiful."
