Chapter 50

"Huh? Why is it good thats she's here!"
I jumped up from my hiding spot and threw my hands up in confusion, and disgust. Daniel continues on, totally ignoring my confusion.
"We were about to go to the store to get strawberries and Nutella, can you watch Angel?"
What did he just say? Does he want me to get killed! I waited for Aspen's answer, in my mind I begged her to say no. I did not want to associate myself with her! I look up from the group to see Corbyn to get up, press a kiss on my temple and leave out the door with car keys swinging on his pointer finger. Zach then got up, press a kiss on my forehead and walk out the door behind the boys. I look up even more to see a calm Aspen on her phone. Was this her true self? I'll just try and avoid her, I thought to myself. I walked away from the kitchen and sat at the couch. I prayed that Aspen wasn't a vampire, and would not try and suck my blood which would cause my painful death. I looked at the television remote, and decided it was best to focus on something else. I turn on the television to already see one of my old favorite shows, World Of Dance, on TV. It was at its final episode, only two people were up against each other. I watched eagerly, my favorite dancer was up against a small girl. I chuckled, I knew who was going to win. I slowly got to the edge of my seat, ready to see who the judges would pick. Suddenly a wild Aspen appeared in my view. She turned off the television and stared blankly at me.
"There's something important I need to tell you."
I was startled that she actually wanted to talk to me, it seemed important to I decided to listen to what she has to say.
