Vamp Why Don't We

Chapter 12

The boys went to the living room and started playing game. I was sitting next to Daniel while Aspen was on the left of me. I tried not to be scared of her, but I was. If she did anything like that again, I'm picking up a knife too. Before being kidnapped I knew how to fight someone off, so why couldn't I do it this time? After thinking all of this Aspen whispers to me.
"Hey can I talk to you for a bit?"
I repeated what I said to myself again, if she does anything, protect yourself.
"Sure."
Aspen gets up and walks over by the staircase, that's good, far away from knifes. She grabbed my shirt collar and put her face right next to mine.
"Don't try anything with Jack, I know you like him!"
She tried yelling at me but she knew she'd be heard, but what if the boys didn't even care she was threatening me?
"I don't even like him, he kidnapped me why would I like any of them."
She finally let go of my shirt collar. I wasn't going to let her get away with this. I pointed right at her face and demanded:
"If I want to date him, then I'm going to date him, and you can't tell me anything."
I could tell she was taken aback by me threatening her back. I walk away back to the couch and sit where I was last time. Hopefully now she knows who she's messing with.
