My head aches as I sit in the bedroom with my mate and child, but I try my best to ignore the pain and concentrate on them instead. Xander sits in front of Blake on the floor, watching him play with the little stuffed animals placed around him. "È un lupo." I smile when Blake looks at me with a little wolf in his hand. (It's a wolf.)

I rest my head on the arm of the couch as I watch the two of them, pulling the blanket around me as I try getting comfortable. After about five minutes of laying there, however, I end up getting off the couch and moving onto the floor. "You good, sweetheart?" Xander chuckles when I sit between his legs and put his arms around me.

Trying to sleep sitting up leaning against him starts getting uncomfortable, so I lay down horizontally and use Xander's leg as my pillow. "Sweetheart," he uses one hand to run through my hair. "Are you alright?"

"My head hurts." I whisper, closing my eyes.

"Ah?" Blake slowly makes his way over to me, stopping when he's right in front of my face. "Ah." he murmurs, leaning forward and giving me the baby-version of a kiss on my forehead.

"Grazie." I take his hand and press it to my lips, trying to focus on him instead of the pain in my head at the moment. He sits there in front of me for a little while, just staring at me trying to figure out what's going on before looking back up at the ceiling fan.

Xander continues running a hand through my hair, attempting to dull the aching in my head. It's only noon, so I'm trying to ignore it, but it's hard and I don't want to ruin the day because of some head pains. "Do you feel better than yesterday?" he asks in a worried tone.

I nod, "I just have a small headache r-right now, but it'll go away s-soon."

Blake tilts over to the side, now laying against my body, as he sprawls out and closes his eyes. "I'm sorry that I can't make you feel better," Xander sighs, caressing my cheek with his hand. "I don't know what to do, sweetheart."

"It's n-not you're fault, Xander." I tell him, truly meaning it. It's not anyone's fault but mine. "You do everything you can for me, and n-no one's telling you to. You and Evelyn are helping me out the most."

He stays quiet after I say this, but a frown still takes place on his features. Slowly, I find a way to sit up without disturbing Blake and hold him in my arms. "I love you," I turn around and press my lips to Xander's.

"I love you too." he holds me close to him, putting his arms under mine to help me hold Blake. He presses light kissing on my temples and on the crown of my head, helping to ease my headache.

According to Xander, Blake is a complicated child. I admit that it's tiring having to wake up twice a night to feed and change him, but I think all parents have to go through that stage at some point. Xander just thinks that Blake has "attitude problems" even though he's only a little over a month old. "He does have attitude problems." Xander retorts, having heard my thoughts.

"He's a baby."

"A baby with attitude." he huffs.
