I am soooo sorry for the late post, my mom thought it was a good idea to take my phone away for 4 hours. It was cuz my siblings didn't do something they were asked to this morning and they said it was a distraction so they took everyone's technology. Like literally I just got it back 10 min ago. And the worst part was that I was texting a friend and helping him with homework and I texted him saying I had to give my phone up so I won't answer anymore and I then gave my phone to my mom but he texted me saying ok bye and MY MOM READ MY TEXTS. Like ya it pops up on the screen when someone texts you but she read it. And when I got my phone back I was like "look at all these notifications I missed" and she was like "well after you gave me your phone (name) texted saying ok ttyl so you must've snuck a text before giving it to me" and I was sooooo mad. I had nothing to do for 4 hours. Yes I could've read but all the books I started are really boring and just.... ughhhhhhh.
Ok onto Lucien and Elain. So I'm not sure if I made a chapter on why I don't ship them two together and if I did I'm sorry. I know I've mentioned this a lot but I don't think I elaborated on it. So I'm looking for all you TMI (The Mortal Instruments) people. You guys know what Parabatai is, but for te people who don't Parabatai is two best friends who have each others back no matter what. So I can see Lucien and Elain being a sorta Parabatai. I remember before EoS people asked SJM if someone could have two mates (for Rowan) and she said yes, well I think Elain has two- Lucien and Az. I can see Lucien filling in as the best friend kinda mate. He's always there for Elain no matter what. And he loves her and would die for her. And Az would be her live interest. I just thought there was a lot of chemistry between them in ACOWAR. Especially when Az gave Elain Truthteller (pretty sure that's what it's called I'm tired so ya but please correct me if I'm wrong) I just really like that part. And Lucien is too clingy. I know that he sees his mate and his instincts kick in but he doesn't have to be that clingy. He's always watching her, always trying to do something to get her to talk to him. To me that's just kinda creepy. I just think Az and Elain would be a good fit. I think Az needs someone like Elain because of his history, he needs someone with that kindness and innocence. These are just some reasons why I think Lucien and Elain would not be together as lovers but as best friends. And I would love to hear your thoughts about it, I'm open to everything.
