Renaissance Festival

I got to go to the Renaissance Festival today, and oh my gosh it was amazing.

When I got to things like this I like to dress up and everything. So I found this black cloak that I had and so I wore dark clothes and then had the black cloak on. I never wear makeup if you know me personally I do not wear it at all but this is an exception. My friend aclbug03 did my makeup with dark colors and everything, and I had a dark burgundy lipstick. I was trying to go as an assassin but I looked amazing. I was twining with aclbug03 .

The costumes of other people were AWESOME! Like I could not believe how much people put into their outfits because they were freaking awesome.

So when we first got there we went to the Queens Court thingy. So we sat and listened and all and then the queen was like "now is there any other matters that we need to discuss?" and she was looking right at me and my friend and I thought she was meaning like people in the audience. So I just blurted out "she killed a man" and pointed to my friend. I said that because we were supposed to be assassins. And when I finished saying it everyone just looked at me and it went silent. The queen then said "I was actually talking to this women here but we will discuss this matter later". And oh my gosh I was sooooooo embarrassed I just wanted to leave.

Ok so there was this shop that was just the best thing ever. It had weapons. So I walked in and I spied this dagger that I instantly fell in love with but then I saw a sign saying "if you're under 18 you may not touch" and I was so mad. I was thinking "well I can look 18 I'm only 4 years younger" but I couldn't. I called my step dad over and showed him the dagger and he was like " that's a pretty sweet dagger" and I asked if I can get it and he said "ya with your $200". Like ya I have over that much but I was just hoping he would get me a dagger but he wouldn't and I don't think I would have been aloud to get it at all. But c'mon it was pretty sweet dagger that would have pulled off my look.

One things with weapons I did get to do was ax throwing. It was so freakin cool. I went up there to throw the ax for the first try and then I threw it and I have no idea how but I got the ax to stick into the wall!! Like I threw it correctly and it landed correctly I was so surprised. My whole family was surprised because let me tell you, I have no arm strength whatsoever. So everyone else went and I was the only one who actually got the ax in and I was so happy. I felt like Celaena at that moment. Because I actually hit my target but of course she could do it so much better than me and it wouldn't be in a wooden wall it would in someone back to be honest.

There was all this other cool stuff that I just loved. The Renaissance era is probably one of my favorite eras and it's a coincidence cuz that's what I'm learning in WH. If they ever come to where you guys are I highly suggest going. Like seriously it's a have to thing to do.
