Jungkook didn't like the general idea of the display of affection. He would turn away when he witness a couple kissing, and he would struggle to keep his members' hands off him no matter it was in public or in private.
"Why did you always not hold our hands in public?" Namjoon once asked Jungkook while they were in private. "You know, skinship and stuff. The fans love that."
"Just, hyung, I don't really like it. It's kind of uncomfortable. As for the fans part, I know when to do things and when not to." Jungkook had replied, and Namjoon had nodded in understanding, patting Jungkook's head before leaving the room.
Jungkook had to physically restrain himself from wincing. If he didn't like touching people, he won't like being touched either.
He never yearned for skinship, at least he didn't until someone forcefully invade his life.

Jungkook didn't like seeing people doing mushy stuff in public.
He was in a restaurant with all his members, and they were eating while chatting without any much thought on their heads, and Jungkook was genuinely enjoying the moment. He liked spending time with his members, and was savouring his food happily, until he saw a boy and a girl at the other corner of the restaurant.
They were obviously a couple, and were on a date, they must be quite young as well, since both of them were wearing school uniforms from a high school nearby. Jungkook's attention quickly diverted away from his members' conversation, as he absentmindedly stared at the couple. They were grilling meat together while bickering over something, but it had to be nothing serious as they were all smiles as they argued. Then, suddenly, without any warning, the boy leaned over the grill and planted a kiss on the girl's cheek.
It was an innocent scene, innocent enough for anyone else, but not Jungkook.
Jungkook immediately turned away from the scene. He could feel his stomach turn, and he suddenly lost all his appetite, only wanting to hurl at the sight of anyone kissing in front of him. He started shuffling uncomfortably in his seat, forcefully willing his stomach to settle down enough for him to eat again. He thought he could disguise his uneasiness well enough, but he was soon proved wrong.
"Hey Kookie, what's wrong?" Taehyung, who was sitting opposite him, asked.
"May I switch seats with you? I saw something... unfavourable." Jungkook tried to answer as vague as possible. Taehyung frowned at him, then his eyes widened in realization.
"Oh, I see. Come sit beside me then, Namjoon wanted to sit with Seokjin, anyway." Taehyung said while nudging Namjoon who was immersed in a conversation with Hoseok, and told him to switch seats with Jungkook.
After Jungkook settled down in Namjoon's place, Taehyung gently wedged his fingers through Jungkook's fingers, feeling how unusually cold and clammy his hand was. He slightly squeezed it, hoping to calm Jungkook down.
Unusually enough, Jungkook didn't try to let go.

Jungkook didn't like hearing mushy stuff anywhere.
The seven members of BTS were doing an interview with a radio station. They were settled comfortably in front of their respective microphones, headphones hanging loosely on their necks. It was a commercial break for them, and nobody was paying attention to the commercials. The DJ and Namjoon were silently talking about music tastes. Hoseok and Yoongi were chatting, Yoongi casually sipping water from a plastic bottle. Seokjin was taking selfies on his phone, while Taehyung photobombed him from the back. Jungkook was drinking water while attentively listening to Namjoon and the DJ's talk when he heard something strange from Hoseok and Yoongi.
