Freya and Thorin wandered back towards the house of Lord Elrond to hopefully find their daughters. Though Thorin was nervous to meet his children for the first time, it didn't stop him from enjoying their present time alone. The Dwarf took her hand and twirled her as they walked along the path. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth, hearing the woman's giggle. The two of them stopped, Thorin tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and cupped the side of Freya's face with his right hand and she closed her eyes as she felt his soft, warm lips against hers. She rested her hand against his chest and Freya was the first to pull away.

"Were never going to make it up the path if we keep doing this." She stated, stroking his beard and gave a small laugh as a tear rolled down her cheek and Thorin noticed.

"Why are you crying?" He asked her.

Freya wiped the tears that came down her face before looking back into his eyes. " For so many years this day has been nothing more then a dream for me and now that your here, i'm scared that i'm still dreaming and when I wake up....you'll disappear." She broke.

The king pulled her into his chest and wrapped his arm around her head, stroking her hair. " Freya, shh. I'm not going anywhere. I promise." He whispered, kissing the top of her head. " Come on, were almost there." He told her, giving her a reassuring smile and took her hand in his and they continued the rest of the way.

The hobbit woman kept her eyes peeled for one or both her daughters. Thorin and Freya were walking through the courtyard, towards the gardens and a smiled came across the woman's face. " Their they are." Freya said. Thorin looked from her and followed her gaze to see two young girls, dueling. He recognized the one from earlier but the other one he had never seen since arriving in the elven valley.

"What are their names?" He asked, realizing he never asked when he had first learned he was a father.

"The dark haired one is Thora and the one you met earlier is Thea."

"Oh Freya, their beautiful." The king said, wrapping an arm around her waist, glancing down at her smiling for a second before turning back to see his daughters still dueling one another. " You had them trained in wielding weapons?" Thorin asked, sounding surprised.

Freya nodded. " They have been trained by both Man and...Elf...but not by their own kin." Freya explained, feeling slightly guilty about that last part and she knew it probably irked him a little to know that they had been trained by Elves. She knew Thorin still despised the elf race, but Thorin could hardly be mad at this. He rather them be prepared then vulnerable. Freya felt Thorin take her hand and she looked up at him and for the first time, she had never seen him nervous like he was now. She squeezed his hand and smiled up at him and they started walking towards them. They stopped just at the trees. " I should probably talk to them first." Freya informed and Thorin nodded at that.

Thora had her sister on her back, until Thea hooked her boot around Thora's boot and knocking her off her feet and onto the ground. " Girls." Freya interrupted. " Can we talk please."

"What's wrong mama?" Thora asked, getting off the ground and sheathing her sword, Thea doing the same and they wandered over to their mother.

"Nothing's wrong. We just need to talk." The sisters looked at the hobbit woman in confusion. " Girls this may be a lot to take in at what I'm about to tell-"

"Does this have anything to do with the Dwarf that was looking for you?" Thea questioned.

"Well, yes it does-" Freya stated, only to interrupted by her other daughter this time.

"Who is he?"

"He's...he's you're father." The two girls looked at their mother in shock. Wondering if she had completely lost her mind.
