"Im Jaebum and girlfriend Y/F/N have not been seen together for quite a while now. Did they break up?"

You stared at the online article not really sure what to think about it because it was true that you two hadn't been seen together but if you were being honest, you were sick of this whole thing. Pretending to be in a relationship and acting like some "perfect" couple was all a bunch of bullshit and a huge mess.

"Okay this is an issue that we need to solve so I need you both to do something in order to get people to believe that the relationship is still going good," JYP said. What exactly were you supposed to even say? Jaebum had not showed up for this so called 'meeting' and you were kind of glad because the last time you saw him you had basically announced you had no feelings for him right in front of his face. It's not like that really meant shit to him though, he was most likely relieved.

   You were not sure how you even felt for him anymore. One second he's so sweet, the next he's treating you like shit. It was a roller coaster of different emotions and you were becoming sick of it.

    "Sorry I'm late."

  Sigh. He showed up after all.

    "Maybe we should break up?" you said suddenly and that earned a look from them both.

   "Don't worry we'll figure it out," Jaebum quickly said before JYP could respond to your sudden suggestion.

   You looked at him confused as to why he even wanted to figure it out? Wouldn't it be better for him if this just ended?

   "What are you doing?" he asked once you had left the office.

   "What do you mean? Everyone thinks we broke up so why not just go with it? It would make this easier for the both of us anyway," you said. You were just tired of it all.

   He grabbed your arm and pulled you to a more private corner because you were both receiving stares from everyone in the building.

"Is this because of Jackson?" he asked.

"What does Jackson have to do with this?" You were so confused now.

"Oh come on, you two seem to be close. Perhaps you like him?"

You stared up at him and couldn't help but roll your eyes. "Are you bullshitting me right now? Clearly Jackson has nothing to do with this, You're the one who has someone."

"Who? That girl?" he laughed. "She's not my type."

You looked up at him again and sighed. He constantly did this; broke your heart by making it appear that he has some other girl. "I'm tired Jaebum, this whole thing is too much," you admitted and his expression seemed to soften and change.

"I understand but it will become ever harder for you if we said we broke up because there are pictures going around of you and Jackson, it will end up looking like you cheating on me with him..." he paused and sighed. "You will receive a lot of threats and hate, I don't want that to happen. We'll figure this out together." He places his hand on your shoulder and it felt somewhat comforting even though it was just a simple gesture and you nodded in agreement.

"So what are we supposed to do?" you asked.

"We go on a date," he smirked as he stuck out his hand towards you. You weren't quiet sure what he was doing so you just stared at it.

"I meant right now," he laughed and took your hand in his and you tried to remain chill.

Sure enough, two reporters quickly headed over taking pictures as soon as you both walked outside.
