"So tomorrow must be a little nerve-racking to you" I said taking a step forward. The crisp leaves crunched under my feet. Eska and I decided to take a little walk into he forest down a trail the Pack owned. It was strictly off limits to humans.

She nodded, "A little. The Freezing Snow, Blue Waters, Hanging Talons and Swift Runners are all facing off together for the final points. The Swift Runners Pack is especially know for being fast."

"Well I pray for you and your Packmates to be swift for tomorrow" I smiled.

We both do, Hadden said wanting to be included in the conversation.

I chuckled, "Hadden wishes you guys well too."

She frowned and looked at me, "Who is Hadden?"

Your strong and incredibly handsome mate who is much smarter than Harvey, He smirked.

"The ass who is my wolf."

He growled.

"Oh right. Well hello Hadden, thank you. My wolf Athena says thank you as well."

I stopped and leaned against a tree, "Athena is a very pretty name. A little ironic too since your from Greece. Isn't Athena a human Goddess in their culture?"

Eska nodded, she looked impress, "Yes, not many werewolves that, except for our pack and neighboring ones as well, Nick's wolf is also named after a human God."

I snorted, "Let me guess..."

"Zeus." We both said at the same time then started laughing.

For some reason I couldn't stop laughing. And neither could she. After a few seconds she put her hand over her mouth and I could quietly hear her counting, "One, two, three."

"What are you doing" I giggled still trying to stop.

She sat on the ground, "I have a habit of laughing for a long time and being unable to stop so I've developed a trick to make me stop and calm me down. I put my hand over my mouth and count to five. I always stop laughing before I get to five though."

I joined her on the ground, "That's an interesting approach. I might want to try that next time I start uncontrollably laughing. I end up laughing so hard that no sound comes up and clap my hands looking like a seal." (Author note: I do this literally all the time.)

She snorted and began laughing again, "I'm sorry if I offend you but I can see you doing that."

"It happens more often then I like."

We calmed down again after a while and enjoyed the fall leaves around us, "Hey do you have your phone on you?" She asked me. I nodded and handed her it.

"The password is Hadden."

She raised her brow, "Your password is the name of your wolf?"

I smirked, "Only my Dad knows how to spell Hadden's name correctly, so no one else can get into it. It's H-A-D-D-E-N."

She typed it in and for a moment she played around with it then typed something else into it and handed it back to me.

I looked at what she had done. She was in my contacts list and her name was typed in with her number.

Eska Cerie
011-306-7827

"So we can now text each other when we can't get together."

I grinned and began changing something. She looked at me curiously, then I showed it to her.

My Mate Eska
011-306-7827

She blushed and I immediately felt my face flush, she was really cute when she looked embarrassed.

"What's your number?" She asked pulling out her phone.

I scrolled down the screen to find my number, "Give me a minute. Here it is, 1-705-389-4519."

Eska huffed, "You don't know your own number?"

"I'm bad when remembering my number. I can remember anything else but that" I shrugged.

She typed it then showed me her screen.

My Royal Mate Harvey
1-705-389-4519

"Aw thanks, I can't really say I'm much of a royal though."

My mate shut her phone off, I did so too, "I don't care. You can be the most royal or unroyal wolf in existence and I couldn't care less. Your still my mate."

"Thanks. I wish I didn't have to say this but we should get back. Anju wants all of us in her room so we can Skype our Parents and tell them how we're doing."

She waited a minute before speaking, "Will you tell them about me?"

I sheepishly looked away, "Do you mind if I wait a bit? My sisters are stressed, my Parents are probably worried about us and the games and my brother and I aren't on good terms at the moment."

She nodded, "I completely understand. Nick is probably wondering where I am about now."

I felt Hadden's anger rise, I don't like this Nick wolf. I don't want to hear another male's name on her tongue.

Neither do I, the stupid part of me wants to challenge this Alpha but the rational part of me wants me to not act like an idiot and get killed.

Rationality sucks, Hadden muttered.

I chuckled at my wolf, Sometimes bud.

We walked back along the trail to the Pack Mansion. We split up when we got closer, "Bye, see you tomorrow and I'll be cheering for you. Although I'm not allowed to show it."

She smiled nodded her head, "Thank you, perhaps your silent cheers will be enough to lead our pack to the first points."

With that, she made her way to her Pack's camp. I watched her, remembering the detail of how she walked. That she started with her right foot always when she first started. Her hips barely swayed as she walked and the wind gently blew her hair sideways.

I waited until she was out of sight. I walked through the door and smiled at a few wolves who said 'hello' to me or 'it's the prince.'

I got up the stairs and to Anju's room, I knocked on the door and heard her voice, "Come in."

Opening the door I saw both my sisters and Mavvie on the floor with a laptop on the bed.

"Where were you?!" Winter fumed and stomped over to me. "I texted you three times we were ready to start the chat and you didn't answer!"

I was baffled at her anger, "I-I was just out for a walk Sorry I turned my phone off."

"Winter enough" Anju ordered and looked back at me, "I prefer if you didn't just go wandering in the forest. This isn't like home, you don't know these woods and you could get lost."

We can smell our way back here, Hadden snarled but he was only speaking to himself and I.

"Sorry Anju, let's just get this started."

I couldn't ignore the hurt that hit me when Mavvie didn't even acknowledge my presence. He glared at me for just a second and turned back to the screen. I sat down near the back.

Anju clicked the screen a few times and soon Dad and Mom's faces popped up, "Hey guys!" Anju said.

"Hey you four, how are you all doing there?" Dad asked.

"Great Dad" Anju said. "The Games seem to be going well, the Wolves here are friendly and generous."

I tuned out their conversation and suddenly just wished that I were with Eska then here.
