What is it you need to speak to me about? Wolfsbane asked.

"In the past few weeks, I've done some really strange thing and I have a feeling they might have to do with my Lunar Wolf abilities."

He nodded, Go on.

My brother had a bruised cheek and when I touched it, it completely healed. As well I've noticed these strange waves of power that radiate from some wolves, It happened to my brother and a woman when they were near each other. I've felt it as well with an Alpha's son."

I wished I could see he facial expressions to see if he was shocked, surprise, or calm.

I did not expect your healing to come forth so quickly, Lunar Wolves were also healers young one. You have the ability to heal almost any wound.

Except your own, Hadden added quietly.

Yes... your healing ability will have no effect on yourself.

"Huh, That'll suck if I get seriously hurt" I huffed. There was always a good and bad to these abilities of mine.

On a side note Lunar Wolf, I spoke with my mate about our previous discussions.

Right, I wanted to learn to fight as a defense in case that Passive wave (Which I still can't master) failed to work.

"And," I pressed.

I will teach you the oldest fighting techniques that no wolf, nowadays knows. Now shift.

YES!

I did so and shifted into my large white wolf form and sat down in front of the black wolf. Although I had grown, I was still small compared to him.

This might be an unfair session, he's so much bigger than me, I complained to Hadden.

If we do find ourselves in a fight I doubt that our enemy will be smaller than us, Hadden snickered, This will be perfect practice, now man up and listen.

Alright, Lunar Wolf, Wolfsbane began, Dodging is the first thing I will teach you. Now there are many ways to dodge but you may also hurt yourself if you do it incorrectly, it's especially difficult when an opponent larger and heavier than you, charges at full speed towards you.

He stood up and kept his lower body to the ground and his upper body in the air, his legs were in perfect sync with each other, all at his side.

Do exactly what I'm doing, he ordered.

I did my best to mimic his position only to find it surprisingly comfortable, I will run towards you at full speed and I want you to dodge me.

I made sure to watch him very, very carefully, his red eyes seemed to slightly glow and with a puff of black smoke, he charged, looking more like a speeding cloud.

I didn't even see him nor have even a second to react before he slammed into me, shoving me to the floor.

I yelped as I harshly fell to the floor and he stood over top of me in a wolf form again, Get up and try again.

That's not fair! How can I see you if you run like that! I snarled.

He simply responded, If you can dodge my attack, you can dodge any wolf. You cannot give up anytime something unfair hits you. Life is full of unfairness and when they do, will you throw a tantrum and run away?

His words cut me like a knife, how many time throughout my life did I do that? Scream when something didn't go my way then run and hide.

I stood up and got back into position, Come at me again.

Wolfsbane nodded, Good. And he charged at me again.

I panted in exhaustion.

My fur was drenched in sweat and I could feel mild bruises covering my body from being thrown to the ground. I needed to stop and cool down for a bit.

Dodging wasn't the only thing he had taught me today, there was throwing an enemy to the ground by bitting their scruff, barrel-rolling then into a hard surface and finally a last resort move that will leave the opponent stunned for about ten seconds and will give me enough time to run.

Have you had enough for today? Wolfsbane asked.

Yes, I continued to pant in an attempt to cool down, I was going for a nice shower after this.

Hadden purred, I think after your shower we should go for a nap to refresh ourselves.

I agree.

Wolfsbane sat down and nudged me, Remember Lunar Wolf, those moves are only for defense and you are not allowed to use them unless you try the Passive Wave first. Understand?

I nodded.

Good, as well about your healing, I advise you to read a little about healing, that will strengthen your mind and therefore strengthen your abilities.

Again I nodded.

What about those strange waves?

He didn't answer it, Goodbye Lunar Wolf, until we meet again.

I growled at my unanswered queation and waited until he was gone then slowly limped to the bathroom. I used my nose to turn on the light and shut the door behind me.

I shifted back to my normal self and slowly undressed. I hissed at the soreness of my body. I could clearly see the visible bruises.

I wish I could heal myself, I groaned and turn the hot water on and stepped into the shower.

If I remember correctly, back when I was Theo's wolf a Lunar Wolf can heal another Lunar Wolf, just not themselves.

What was Theo like, I questioned enjoying the water on my bare skin.

Hadden sighed, He was a leader, an inspiration to all Lunar Wolves. He was caring to all, and above everything, he loved his brother.

...Like how I love Mavvie?

He nodded, Yes, when we were murdered by his brother, Theo was heartbroken. When I became your wolf and found out you had an older brother, I was skeptical. Mavvie loved you and was always by your side when you found out the truth about yourself. When he ignored you and hurt you... it brought up the memories of Theo's brother.

Mavvie would never purposely hurt me, he has the tendency to become an asshole but he calms it down pretty quick.

I know. But... it was traumatic. And I'll always carry it around.
