#Harvey: Good luck Eska.
#My Mate Eska: Thx. It means a lot coming from you.
#Harvey: I was wondering if after you'd like to go for another walk with me in the forest?"
#My Mate Eska: It all depends on how 2day goes.
I left it at that and got ready again. Mavvie like always for the past few days, got up early to avoid me. I felt lonely without him. All I did was not tell him one secret and he's forever mad at me. I want to tell him now but he's not around to listen.
I sighed and combed my hair then placed the crown on my head. Once I took a deep breath I headed to the Area. Anju and Winter left without me this time so I walked alone and wrapped my arms around myself. The hallways were empty and silent.
I looked at the pictures on the walls. Some were landscape, some were of people. I passed one of Lubov. It was a younger picture of him, more like his son Luka.
"You look awfully lonely," a voice said behind me.
I stopped and turned to see Misha. Lubov's other niece and the Pack healer In training. She had pulled her hair into a thick bun and she had a large coat on.
"My siblings sorta left to the Area without me. I'm on my way there now" I said.
"So am I, would you mind if I kept you company?"
I shook my head, "Of course not. Some company would be nice right about now" I murmured.
She caught up with me and we head over together. Misha kept a conversation going with some small talk but I was thankful for it. I mostly asked her about her Training and what it was like and she was more than happy to talk about it.
We finally arrived at the Area, "I'm going to find Eliza and sit with her, Bye."
"Bye Misha" I waved goodbye, "Thank you, I really needed that."
She nodded and left.
I headed up the stairs to the small room where we'd gather before going out. Anju was sipping a cup of tea. Winter was looking at a magazine and Mavvie was just sitting on the couch. There was an empty spot right beside him so I sat down. It was an awkward silence, no one talking.
I thought back to the first day of the Games. We all were lively and joyful. And in just a matter of a few days that suddenly breaks.
Maybe you should try talking to him now that we're together, Hadden sniffed.
No, right now it's not a great time. Plus it's just something I want Mavvie and I to talk about. Anju and Winter are way to stressed to deal with this.
He gave a low growl but said nothing.
Lubov came in, "Ready?"
Anju stood up, "Yes."
We all got up and headed to our thrones.

I sighed in relief as the three winners were awarded the points. Freezing Snow won third place and was awarded 10 points, Swift Runners got second place and they received 20 points. Finally, it was Blue Waters who won first place and were given 30 points. They were the first winners of the Games. And it was my Eska who brought the pack to victory.
I understood how their tactic worked. Eska was the fastest wolf, so they had her be the last runner, that way she could catch up if they fell too far behind.
Her Packmates surrounded her hugging and screaming with her.
Anju stood up to address them all, "Congratulations Blue Waters for the first place win, and congratulations Hanging Talons, Freezing Snow and Swift Runners as well."
Finally, it was over. We got up and headed back to our rooms.
"I've got some papers to look over, Winter I'm going to need you" Anju ordered.
She nodded, "I don't have anything else better to do."
I spoke up, "Hey maybe after do you guys want to-"
"Sorry but not today," Winter said and she and Anju walked into the bedroom closing the door behind them.
Mavvie started to head back the other direction from me, "Hey Mavvie I-"
He didn't even stop for me to finish. I was alone now.
Heading to my own room I pulled out my phone to text Eska.
#Harvey: Congratulations.
#My Mate Eska: Thank you. My Pack is celebrating. I'd rather be spending my night with you but I have to stay.
#Harvey: I understand, have fun.
#My Mate Eska: Not without you.
My heart skipped a beat, she wanted to be with me. I wanted to be with her as well.
I laid in my bed, I guess it's just you and me Hadden.
Closing my eyes I waited for his response, but I wasn't expecting the tone of voice he used, I'll always be here for you when others aren't. Remember that. It almost sounded sad.
I chuckled, Alright who are you and what have you done with Hadden?
My wolf chuckled as well but then got serious again, All joking aside we're apart of each other, I'm going to be by your side through everything."
His words somewhat brought me comfort and I surrendered to sleep.
*Dream*
When I opened my eyes I was in a white void. Pure white, there was nothing here. Just me.
"Where the hell am I?" I muttered to myself.
I sat up and looked around until I heard Hadden's voice.
"Father, wolf of Darkness and Mother, wolf of Life."
I whipped around to see a white fluffy wolf standing a distance from me. It was me. Or Hadden in my wolf form.
"Hey Hadden, what's going on?"
If he heard me he didn't show it cause he kept talking.
"Awaken me... no... awaken us. He can take it, I will protect him."
Awaken? Protect me?
"Though he will need more than me to get through this, Death, please help him. You promised her you would."
Death help me? Promised who? What was going on?!
"Thank you, both of you."
And that was all I heard before the white void returned to darkness.

I realize that I completely ignored the guards that came with them. Their still here but they're just busy. I sorta want to take that MVB award from Mavvie but at the same time, he'll just re-earn it.
